You definitely have to give her credit there. Not exactly easy to be so aggressive when talking to the Spirit King. Of course after seeing everyone rally behind her in the last arc I'm not surprised she wanted to stand up for her friends this time.

well, it seems every character has had a go at yelling "fighting for my friend". Even the most normal person of the group has been corrupted. Lucy's now an official FT's strongest team member.

If/when they get around to making Fairy Tail figures, Erza collection is gonna be EXPENSIVE with all her different armour... I can feel my wallet hurting already.

Re: Censorship, they also remove most of the sex-related jokes that had Lucy as the victim. For instance, there were a couple of stripping jokes during Galuna Island in the manga.

Re: Number of episodes, it looks like they might stop after Fantasia, judging by them removing all references to Gildartz so far. If there were any plans at all to get that far, they would've just left those in.

I wonder what the reunion of Aries will be like with Leo if and when Lucy gets her?

Also, ultimately, I believe that Lucy will be able to summon the Spirit King at some point, although, it might be a once in a thousand year summon.

Doubt it, I'm waiting for spirit mages with summons based on different themes...

Like playing cards, greco-roman gods, animals, chinese mythology, meso-american mythology, etc.

Can't they just see each other in the spirit realm?

It's probably extremely rare that spirits ever see each other in the human world unless they are being forced to fight with each other from two opposing Celestial wizards.
Since so far we've seen a total of _1_ Celestial wizard with the ability to summon more than one at once. (Of course there will probably be at least one more "big boss" opponent with a good portion of the other 6 gold keys who can summon multiple ones at once eventually for Lucy to defeat, but I doubt there'd be more than one)

I still don't see how that means they'll stop after that arc. I mean they can easily just bring him into conversation at a later point.

What I hear are two things:

1. Ratings have sucked, consistently. However ratings on TV Tokyo and all other Japanese TV stations have sucked for all their programming for a while... It's hard to tell whether it's the show or just the overall trend for broadcast TV.
2. The manga sales on the other hand have gone way up.

So that doesn't really answer the question of whether the show will keep going for a long while or end... It depends a bit on how much the manga company (kodansha, I think) controls the property, which no one knows.

It's possible they might do something like they're doing with Tegami Bachi and stop the show after 50 episodes (1 year), then restart it after 6 months or a year of a break. The companies are looking into a lot of different ideas to keep costs down but still build a decent franchise.

Well anime seems to be on quiet high rate too among watchers. Just take a look at my anime list and press on the Fairy Tail title. It is at about 311th place what is already higher than Bleach and Naruto. Of course that site is not the best indicator but it still is rated by watchers.

Now if go back on topic... so far it will be only Natsu without actual arc. Lucy got hers just moments ago, Gray almost in the begining, Erza will get hers now, Happy got his episode too... so yeh it leaves only Natsu then.
Also Loke and 3 siblings got theirs, wonder who else will get some kind of background.

Also... now that Lucy had showed her potencial, I wonder if Happy also will suprise us one day. After all he still is a kid but at the same time a magical creature

I'm just expecting it to go anime original ending on us eventually, but yeh i'm at least hoping it'll go the way you say, because i'd hate to see this adaptation end in such a fashion.

The ring that he wears is only a normal ring but there something called "Lacryma" in it. It is still unknown what he is capable of doing, but we will know it when he is summoned as a stellar spirit who is. The reason he is always after women is possibly because of Karen's influence, he though that if he acted like her he could be unnoticed amongst humans. He always avoided Lucy because when he sees her he remembers the sin he commited although in reality she is his type of girl.

I remember seeing more of the obvious guild members who stand out (like Arzak and Visca), though i don't remember noticing Warren. I'm sure he's appeared though.

This episode was great, most hilarious moment was Happy drooling at Loki's shoulder...the rest was pretty tragic, as it should be, although I would have liked it more if Lucy's last line hadn't been included, kinda ruins the fun mood after all the drama.
