Also, I really doubt that Clayman is controlling Milim. He might have manipulated her, but I don't think he is controlling her. I mean, it's not hard to manipulate Milim. Even Rimuru did so in a matter of minutes, except Rimuru actually has good intentions. Imagine another scum in Clayman who lives and loves doing these dirty deeds. I'm sure just a little talk between Milim and Rimuru will probably resolve most things involving Milim, instead of an all out fight with her.


Also, right now, I believe Rimuru is probably stronger than Clayman. Clayman is probably equal to Carrion, and Grucious (sp?) already believes that Rimuru is more powerful than Carrion.

Maybe I wasn't clear but what I meant to say is that I was shocked the mage was not harmed by Diablo and was just captured as ordered. That mage was just as much of a scumbag as the idiot other-world guy he killed. So I was disappointed that the mage ended up relatively unharmed.

As for Milim, she was oddly silent during the fight when normally she seems rather chatty. Also, why capture the beast demon lord if it wasn't to brainwash him too. I have a hard time seeing him join forces willing with Clayman after the beast village was destroyed.

I don't think Carrion will join Clayman, per se. Carrion respects strength, as is shown by his subordinate's interaction with Rimuru's subordinates. The one who completely showed him her incredible strength is Milim. If he is going to join anyone, it will be Milim, not Clayman. Again, I don't think Milim is brainwashed or being controlled, since she is way too powerful for something like that to happen. However, I do believe she is being manipulated, which is Clayman's specialty.


And at the end of the day, I don't believe Milim will cause direct trouble for Rimuru (indirect in that a flood of refugees were forced to come to Tempest). Even if she does, Rimuru now has Veldora, who I'm guessing is probably her equal. We don't know how strong Diablo is, so I'm going to hold back judgement on if he can handle Milim or not.

Veldora, thanks to Rimuru's memories, has now become a weeb really into manga and Japanese stuff. But all he really cares about in the end is seeing his best buddy Rimuru again after so long .

The new Opening is a little more hard rock than past Openings, and features some reused animations, but we've got the basic gist of Tempest vs. Clayman's forces alongside some new characters (I'm really curious about those girls) .

Rimuru has four Ultimate Skills? And he's even managed to upgrade Veldora into practically being all-knowing? Like, other than maybe Milim, does Clayman have anything near that powerful ?

It takes Treyni bowing to Veldora for it to sink in for Tempest and the audience just how important Veldora actually is to the forest and how big of a deal it is for him to be outside. Seems like there's some backstory between Veldora and Treyni and her sisters that I'd like to know more about .

Mjurran can drink her love under the table. Don't feel bad Youm, it's not a bad thing when your lady can hold her liquor .

Rimuru really thought he had gotten out of eating Shion's cooking, but he ends up stuck with Benimaru and learning that Shion doesn't understand the basics of cooking because she doesn't want to cheat on her sword...unless Rimuru asks her too. Of course thankfully her revival has made her a Master Chef so now all her horror-show cooking tastes as good as she wants it to, but it still takes a minute to get used to eating stuff that looks so terrible .

Does Shion really have anything to teach Diablo? He's probably more capable of being a secretary than she is, outside of sitting and looking pretty .

Well, Fuze's heart was in the right place and props for him rushing over to help out as much as he could, even if he was really late to the party .

Tempest's allies are gathering, including Gazel, but we also have a Sorcerer's Dynasty showing up, including Eren's father Elalude, to join in on the planning for Tempest's next move. Thankfully Eren was able to smack her father with her staff before he incinerated everything out of worry for his daughter .

It's nice to hear Rimuru's old voice again as Takuma Terashima once again sings the Ending, showcasing the daily life of Tempest as well as Rimuru and Veldora's friendship .

Raphael is so much more personable now. Like, her voice sounds really different and she's way more emotive. Even on the next episode previews .

Shion's cooking is edible now, good even. That's the end of that running gag. It only took Rimuru becoming a Demon Lord and giving her an ultimate skill for it to happen. Everyone in the series would probably say it was worth it.

Elves have pointy ears, Eren showed them to Rimuru in a previous episode. They didn't have them here because they weren't using their real bodies (and even then, easy to hide with magic).

They got plenty of mileage out of that in Slime Diaries and last season. Now she can't cook anything visibly edible .

Heh, they were surprised when the dragon suddenly appeared but diablo was treated like the butler that he has become, if they only knew who he really was then maybe they would've had the same reaction as that other guy who escaped the massacre last season.

It important to note her cooking is so bad it breaks reality. The books point out the looks and texture of the food is still the same.

So while we were all worried about Clayman, it seems like the true mastermind behind everything is...Yuuki!? And he probably manipulated Hinata into being biased against Tempest too. What is his game? Why did he revive a Demon Lord and take out Rimuru? What is his game? He seemed so reasonable and understanding before .

Turns out that busty elf lady from the previous Opening who never showed up is Demon Lord Kazaream in an artificial body. So I guess we should think of him as a guy in a woman's body? Plus with Yui Ishikawa's voice. He seems frustrated that he's not as strong as he used to be, but I wonder if he's enjoyed any of the perks of his new female body .

So looks like they're going to instigate Walpurgis to bring all the Demon Lords together for...something, which Clayman is driving, and he's got Frey and Milim on his side .

I love Veldora just walking in still as boastful as ever but in normal clothes. And then everybody realizes who he actually is .

Poor Fuze reacting to everything like a normal person because no one gives him any warning .

Well, Gazel and Elalude are unsurprisingly kind of surprised at Veldora, but in the end it's still the better move to continue to ally with Tempest .

It's kind of hilarious to think a blonde cutie like Eren helped create a Demon Lord .

Well, I kind of feel bad for any of the families of those soldiers Rimuru killed now that they don't have any bodies to bury and there's going to be a coverup to hide what really happened...and Rimuru's just smiling about it because he feels pretty comfortable doing that stuff now if he feels he has to. I guess they really didn't luck out being soldiers of Falmuth .

Turns out Hinata is, normally, a pretty reasonable and noble person, she's just biased against monsters because of the church she's a part of and because of Yuuki's manipulations. Shion, Diablo, and even Veldora all want to take her on, but Rimuru just wants to keep the peace until they have to deal with them again. I can't think we're not going to get a rematch between her and Rimuru at some point .

Oh hey, Ramiris! You were in last season's Opening too but never appeared. And now she's bringing in even more proclamation's of Tempest's doom with her. Not the best way to make a reintroduction .

I totally forgot about how omniscient Raphael is, they could just go ahead and reveal Yuki as the mastermind (or any other reveal in the future) without any buildup and with no explanation other than "Raphael is never wrong" and we'd just have to accept it

Also apparently top tier homunculi are very expensive, but rimuru just splits himself up and makes one in an instant for Veldora to inhabit, another OP skill to add to the list

And it kinda bothers me that apparently nobody ever made the connection between Rimuru Tempest and Veldora Tempest before, not a single person before his appearance, and it's not like Veldora is an obscure name or something smh

Because Tempest is the name that Rimuru gave Veldora. No one else knows that he has this name until now.

I wasn't expecting Yuuki to be the mastermind behind everything. It certainly explains why Hinata was unwilling to hear Rimuru's side. I liked that Rimuru figured it out right away after hearing how Hinata usually behaves. But the list of suspects was pretty short since he was the only one Rimuru had told his true identity to at the time.

ahh makes sense. He was just Veldora before Rimuru gave him a surname, I've always thought he's a special dragon with 2 names even before rimuru woke up in that cave.
