Whoa, thats a great update you made, especially the second one. Got to love those scattering dust and curve lines surrounding the character.
That's an awful neg rep you got when you was a beginner. But hey, you still decided to make signatures even after that comment and now look how far it gotten you. Must of hit you really hard if you still got a screenshot of your very first rep. Quote:

Same here, I even got one sayin: "I don't like it" for my thread. No constructive criticism whatsoever . I guess there are people like that still around at AS ^^
But don't let them get you. Many of us always like/liked your style and works. Keep up the awesome work bro I love the third image, the warm feeling it gives is really nice!

Every one of us in the FC thread start at the beginner's level some time in our journey. And all of us, with effort, will improve over time (and we always keep on striving to improve even more). There is never one single style that will be liked by all but as long as we're happy and know that some out there appreciate our work; that should be good enough. I haven't been to this section of the forum for quite a while but from what I see of your latest work, you've done very well - especially with the effects and lighting. Keep up the effort and keep on improving.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone!
Update: I slightly lost my touch because of all these exams coming up! Quite a tribute to Fairy Tail (Currently Watching, added to watch list recently, on episode 61 ) Erza: Natsu: Lucy and Gray ones are coming!

It's probably because many of us are busy around this time of the year. It happens but don't let the lack of comments discourage you.
I like the last vertical sig you did (red one). The lighting and shadows work quite well together to bring the girl out. You may want to try different colours in your spot lights, as it seems like you are often using yellow. You seem to have this particular technique with the light swirls and fairy dust down, so I suggest you may want to begin trying different techniques to make your sigs even better. A major suggestion, that I often give to beginners, is to start working with light and dark to give your sigs more depth. Right now, your smaller, horizontal sigs lack depth. Also, some of your sigs, like your Fairy Tail sigs in the previous post look too pixelated, perhaps it was over sharpened? Try to tone that down so the edges of the render does not appear too pixelated and jagged. But overall, good sets of sigs you've posted. Keep it up!

There will always be time like that. You can get a dozen comments for a update and nothing for the next few others. Plus the fact than the Fan Creation subforum is rather quite for now.
