Not feeling the new Han. Definitely not feeling it from the teaser. I hope the actual movie will prove me wrong.

I agree that he definitely feels off from the Han we know, but that’s because the Han we know is grown up. There’s never been kid Han before on the big screen.
Other than the difference in age, the trailer and teaser don’t show enough of him yet to judge if he gets the character right or not.

And taking into account that this film chronologically is set 10 to 15 years before A New Hope.

They are going to get their money's worth out of that Imperial Mark I 4tar Destroyer they made for Rogue One.

Well there will be an added TIE variant with what I guess is a heavy weapons pod. Plus a clean Millenium Falcon.

We may get the first Star Wars related movie that actually ends up being a box office flop... I think even the Prequels were (marginally) successful.

Well that was a surprise.
Not only because the movie was already finish since last i heard the last directors for this movie left due to creative difference between them and Disney (IIRC it had to do with both the producers and Disney didn't like that the Directors try to make the movie more like a comedy and not follow the script as they keep improvising scenes on the spot.) but also because it's coming out this Summer instead of Christmas juts like Rogue One.

It was an alright movie. Not as good as Rogue One, but miles above Episodes VII and VIII.

It is still following the trend of character disrespect though,

I liked it, and I think that was a great young Han Solo just starting out. Remember that Han was always the good guy scoundrel. Always looking for a way out, always complaining about the Good Fight, but still doing the right thing in the end. And that’s in his older, more cynical years. This Han doesn’t have any really bad experiences yet.

What totally caught me off guard was

Saw it again. Still a good movie. Won't mind seeing more of these characters.
