Nope. All that happens is that the two "Negis" or other people will just interact with each other. This has already happened twice in the manga:

Chapter 125: When older Negi and his crew take Ako back to the concert area in order for her to make it to her concert with the cheerleaders, she and Madoka, who is looking for Ako with the earlier Negi, are surprised to see two older Negis, two "bishie" Kotarous, two "chibi" Chisames, and two "usagi" Chachamarus.

Chapter 129: Just when Chamo is about to head to Library Island to help Konoka, Nodoka, and Yue deal with the situation that is Haruna finding out about Negi's secret, he bumps into his future self, who, along with Negi and Konoka, went back in time to check out Asuna's date with Takahata. It results in a funny moment where the two ermine high five each other.

Ahhh, yeah, I remember now.

According to the whole "Timecop" thing the two ermine's coming in contact would have caused an implosion and they would cease to exist. Funny how they're already cheating time with Evangeline-san's villa and they had to throw in a time machine :P.

Oh yeah, everyone is shotacon for Negi. Lucky kid.

Upcoming season? This is the Negima manga thread, manga doesn't have "seasons", that terminolgoy applies to anime not manga The English edition is up to Vol 9 now, not sure how far the Japanese releases are (I'm sure someone has posted that info in this thread already).

How much have you read, or have you (as you imply) only watched the anime. If you have only seen the anime, then I would certainly recommend trying the manga since it much better (and doesn't suffer from the problems of the poor anime ending since it doesn't happen in the manga). The first volume can be a problem to some since it contains so much fanservice and panty shots but if you are able to cope with this you should find the plot entertaining.

But if you are worried about the ending of the anime, then it isn't a problem with the manga since it isn't part of the actual story (or at least in the way it was presented in the anime).

This is simply a confusion - there is only one Negi. They don't "appear" or need to "disappear" in the sense you're thinking of. Or to put it another way, we're moving onto the 3rd day and that transition was only made once - hence 'all the other Negi's' have already disappeared (time travelled). For story telling reasons, I doubt Negi would make a time-jump to the middle of the night to make this transition again.

wheee... blundering through B&N last night, snared volume 10 of the Del Rey edition. Now I have weekend reading. They hadn't been shrinkwrapping the volumes lately but this one is so I figure some fanservice is inside..... (quick flip later) looks like this is my book with lots of Tatsumiya goodness..... and others....

I love this Manga!! my favorite is Kaede she is so cool I wanna be like her. Some of the character look like the ones from negima like Ku Fei-Su and Akira-Motoko

Really? I don't get it sometimes, since I've seen many 18+ titles w/o shrinkwrap and on reachable shelves.

Oh yeah, has anyone else taken a gander at Chapter 137?

uuhm well i havent been following the manga for some time now, but i do remember there was this lil dogboy in it, when i was bored and read the last chapter i was shocked to find him ah o.o; girl?! wtf happened to him! or is that someon else!

Most likely it was someone else, although in the American version of vol. 5, some of Negi's students do mistake him for a girl when he makes his first appearance in the story.

Kotarou is an actual 'kiba', half human half wolf type thing, we meet him in the Kyoto FieldTrip arc.

The whole "shrinkwrap" thing is very flaky and inconsistent ... I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Finished volume 10 over the weekend... now I have to reread it as I was turning pages too fast. Lots of detail in this one and a lot of very nice focused chapters on particular young ladies. Ken is doing a pretty good job maintaining the "older sister or future lover" tension on the Negi-Asuna vector. The Yue dilemma exposition is pretty good though I might have picked something other than the rude little ermine to pull it along. Evangeline and Takamichi were interesting... hmmm.

And just how old *is* Tatsumiya?

I'm kind of wondering how many volumes Ken A. has this plotted out for -- and for how long a storyline: will we watch people grow into adults? Technically, he could string this along all the way through University years since the school is an "all in one" campus.

Most of the chars seem, by looks-wise, to 16-18, but then this is manga and i think the girls school year says they are around the age of 13, thats not case for eva and and ghosty girl.

Tatsumiya could be older and just be an agent payed to be in that class. But then the reference of her being a merc when she was younger and the time references seem to make her about 13/14.

Well... I knew the "middle school" age bracket and Sayo's and Eva's age checks.

I was referring explicitly to Negi's response after Tatsumiya filled him in on her background.

Based on her spiel, I suspect she's nearing 20 or better --- since asian ladies under 40 often look like they're teenagers.
