Interpretations of his power levels have varied. Some think he's the non-canon equivalent of Perfect Cell (and thus, defeatable by a kid Gohan). Others think he's the the strongest character ever introduced into DBZ, canon or non-canon. There are legitimate arguments both ways. Toei animation did admit to making Brolly too powerful and probably wanted to bury the issue, but he was brought back by fan votes. In both sequels he was faced against exceedingly weak opponents (kid Goten and Trunks), perhaps as a way for Toei animation avoid having to answer questions about his power level. The actual scene in which Toei specifically screwed up with the Broly movie was when he walked right into Goku's most powerful attack without a single scratch. No succeeding villain, canon or non-canon, has actually managed to do that, and I think Toei realized they really screwed up so they buried him in slapdash movies fighting kids instead. Brolly died being shot into the sun, if that's what you are asking. (But then again, so did quite a few other non-canon villains). |

Oh yes let's imprison the man that could kill our entire defensive force by himself, because surely 20000 years of imprisonment won't just piss him off by the time we release him.
