After thinking about it, a Mikoto/Accelerator romance fanfic could be real fun to write from a hurt/comfort angle. Accelerator is so screwed up inside, and Mikoto is likely one of the few people who could really get what the inside of his head like within the whole lonely level 5, guilt complex side of stuff.

Plus I can see Last Order playing matchmaker, I really can.

Confession will probably come near end of the series for sure =w=;;;

I am more worried how far Railgun manga can go on for considering how Mikoto appears a lot in the Index novels... I just hope it can go on till the novel ends.

I'm more worried about Railgun skipping a lot of material so that it has to end sooner than the novels... I hope it doesn't skip too much arc material, given that more Index arcs seem to happen between railgun arcs...

It skips a lot of material but every arc takes forewer to finish (2+ years)
So even with that, if it goes all the way to NT, then it will most likely finish in 10+ years.

Sisters arc ==> Daihaisei arc was a huge skip in my opinion. Maybe either because Mikoto already had huge roles in Index side to the point that it didn't have to be covered again in the Railgun side again, like for example with Etzali and Awaki, although it involved Mikoto mainly, since it was already covered, I guess Kamachi thought it wasn't necessary for it to be covered in the railgun manga again.

Well mostly since if Kamachi were to cover a story that was already shown beforehand in anime and novels in the Index side into the Railgun side again just to keep up the story, it would be waste of chapters and it may be boring to the readers.

But I think too much skipping can really end the series way earlier than the novels.

But if I think about it in another way, it wasn't much of a huge skip because Liberal Arts City arc exists, and minor 1~2 chapter stories still existed before (which of course were sadly covered in the anime early = aka Kongou entry chapters)

So overall it wasn't much of a huge skip in terms of storyline.

From what I see, there is a lot of room for more Mikoto-side of the story after Daihaisei arc. The question is what will they be about and such.

I can image that will be many stories round the time Touma goes to Russia. Before Mikoto decides to go after him. I guess there will be a story leading up to that.
