Here(Brazil) Dragon Quest was dubbed from the Mexican vesion, and came with the name: "Fly, o pequeno guerreiro", which means "Fly, the young/little warrior".
SBT channel used to transmit it once a week, every Saturday morning, loooong time ago... I was looking for information about Dragon Quest and found some good information: http://www.dragon-warrior.com/FAQs/answers.shtml#102 Site that brings information about the main questions. It tells the difference between the two different Dragon Quest series: Dragon Warrior(the first one), and Dai No Daibouken (FLY)(the last one). http://www.dqshrine.com/dqmaap/ Site that brings a lot of informations of the story and the characters, and shows some pictures of them. http://bt.s0nicfreak.com/browse.php?...t=1&incldead=1 Site when you can get the torrents of the 13 episodes of Dragon Warrior(the first Dragon Quest anime) that were dubed English. http://bt.s0nicfreak.com/browse.php?...t=1&incldead=1 Here you can get the first episode of Dai no Daibouken(the second Dragon Quest anime) subbed. |

None of those listed are subbed.</quote> Yeah, you're right! I got confused with the last ctrl+c, ctrl+v.... You can notice that the last two links were the same.... The correct last link is: http://shi-fa.cjb.net/ (and you'll notice that this link is familiar ) |

Is there any effort to sub the first series? Ever since I saw the first 13 episodes on US TV I've been dieing for sub versions. I can't seem to find any import DVDs only ever seen a VCD of them with chinese subs on ebay. Is this like a very hard series to get raws of?

I'm in the same boat as Shogikishi! I really want to see the rest of the Abel Yuusha series of Dragon Quest! Dai no Daibouken is fun... but not really my cup of tea. I was hoping that I could eventually find some raws of the whole Abel series now that the DVD of the series has come and gone... I guess it all comes down to whether someone who bought the DVDs (while they were available were kind enough to upload avis or such of them.
