There's alot of small details that the anime left out, mostly trivia or monologues to expand on character's actions and motivations, but the general picture is there.

Once in awhile though, there are somethings that actually play a part in the main story later without you realizing.

Well yeah, but they never made it past the testing stage since the war ended early.

Because precisely is Kumokawa's letter maybe the agent was stupid enough to fall unde the trick just because she send a letter to somebody.

Flere821 Lurker Join Date: Aug 2010	Oh, and I'll add some parts I found the love letter SS to be great: Spoiler for lulz: -Kumokawa told Fukiyose to deliver a letter to Touma in front of the entire class, and left the door open to people passing by know it too. Due to that Touma got into another rumour and it's basically decided among his classmates attracting other girls is his esper ability. Kumokawa is supposedly one of the most popular girls in Touma's school, and so the rumour mill spread fairly fast. -Fukiyose was accused of being tsundere for Touma by Kumokawa when asking why Fukiyose won't deliver the letter. Fukiyose vehemently denies she has any feeling for Touma (this scene is debatable on being proof of tsundere tendecies IMO). -Fukiyose foisted the letter to Komoe-sensei to deliver it, since knowing Touma she'll end up in another 'misfortune' - at night, in a boy's dorm. Fukiyose is thinking even if it's Touma he won't do anything to little girls, so Komoe-sensei will be safe. And judging from NT epilogue, guess I was wrong about Freshman being set up to counter Bardway. They were just set up as part of the preparations for the new war.
