It's by him, but it's a very old coloring (I've had it since January, however I'm sure it's older than that). You can see how much he's improved since then.

That coloring is pretty awesome as usual even if its an old one. I just bought TLRD vol.2 it might arrive in a week and half. Did anybody else buy the latest volume of TLRD or will consider buying it?

I'd buy it if they don't censor the nipples and draw in smoke effects or other material hindrances in the fanservice panels.

...So, these days the only way to tell the difference between an official chapter and a doujin is that in the official work something interrupts before the sex turns hardcore? ...Yeah. Unbelievable as it seems, that was not what I read To Love-ru for. You all have fun with that.

The good thing is that the tank versions are less censored compared to the one's in the magazine. If you look at the to love ru blogs like here

http://toloverulove.blog121.fc2.com/...ntry-1273.html

You can see that the tank versions are superior to the magazine version.

Wait what? TLR is better than TLRD are you okay? TLR was boring at times while TLRD alway keeps me interested. I am always looking forward to the next chapter something I never did with TLR.

Hard to maintain interest in a monthly release (compared to a weekly one, which is what TLR was) that seems determined to do nothing more than turn an already highly fanservicey series into outright porn. Fanservice is nice, but the series used to have more than that (no really, it did) and now it seems like it's only pretending to have more than that while actually just trying to show off as many lustful fantasies as it can as explicitly as possible.

ERR darkness has had more development in 11 chapters than trouble had in 162 chapters.

I'm sorry. Were we reading the same manga? This is the To-love-ru thread last I checked. The series that went 162 chapters and all it managed to do was introduce a new girl every couple dozen of chapters?

I mean I get the monthly thing sucks, but I am following enough monthly mangas at this point that its not an issue, the first week of every month just has me checking for releases every couple of hours. So I dont really miss anything, plus these chapters are fairly long. Compared to a manga like Sekirie that is on a bi-weekly schedule (hypotheticly), where the author is known to release 10 page chapters afer 2-3 months of delays, this schedule is quite workable.

Once it stops trying to push the limits of fanservice into porn, I may be willing to read more of it to see if it changes my opinion. Right now, however, I'd be too ashamed to let anyone know I'm reading it.

I apologize, I am not stating my complaint clear enough. It is unfair of me to judge the story, because I haven't read enough of it, and the schedule is not the real issue. I shouldn't have objected to those, and I am sorry. The problem is simply that the fanservice has gone so far beyond fanservice that I am no longer comfortable reading the series, because I'm not reading it for porn, yet that's all I can see what I try to read it. I can get porn elsewhere, when and if I want it. But it's not what I want to read this series for.

Hey dude it's cool..I get your vibe buttttt......

The manga had really nothing to it aside from sex jokes. Any character development or romantic tension is laughable.

I read it for sex joke luls and great art, that's it.....you want a better less shameless version of the story try Urusei Yatsura.

It has no porn. It really is not too different from reading the TLR volumes in term of how much flesh is being shown. Sure, Yabuki is pushing things to its limits, but he hasn't done it, in my opinion, in a distasteful fashion. So, whilst TLR:D has definitely got much more perverted content than TLR, it can hardly be called porn.

In addition, something that has already been mentioned and which TLR:D deserves praise for is that it's managed to have some interesting plot and stick to it, without making the manga get too serious, but developing the story enough to keep things interesting. In addition, whilst some things get revealed, several things are still on the shadows and new questions arise as well, in order to keep you hooked. And that's the story alone. The character development that has been had has been really good.

In terms of guilty please, for me, TLR:D is the same as TLR. However, in terms of enjoyment and interest, I think TLR:D is far superior. Whilst I cannot say it feels as if I'm reading a new manga, I can say TLR:D has addressed almost every single complaint I had while reading TLR, and worked on it.

I'd advise you to give it a chance. But, if the perversion is indeed too much that it puts you off, well, I guess you'll have to drop it.

My TLR: D volume 2 was just shipped if no one uploads a slightly better scan i don't mind scanning one. Assuming the binding of the volume does not interfere too much with the scanning process.

Then walk away right now, because it won't. In fact, that's been the entire goal of the series even when it was in Weekly JUMP.

a- Perhaps the over exposure of ecchi situations may sometimes cover the story that the series is trying to get through.

b- Mangafox is full of idiots.

As usual, it's option c) both answers together. Ecchi can be good, but at the same time too much ecchi with too less around it gets tiresome (hello wasted ecchi moments in TLR1 *coughpantylessyuicough*).

With that said, I'm pleasantly surprised that while the ecchi has been beefed up majorly in TLR: D, the character/story development also stepped up to an acceptable amount. Now if only Rito would become a bit more robust against the opposite gender, I will be happy. not in a playboy way, but something like not getting heart attacks when Lala or someone walks [half]nude around n the house. I mean, he has lived with them for a rather long time so a certain degree of "immunity" would be nice.
