episode 1:
the background music when she is thinking at the start feels like an rpg game. Good job bgm people. that's a monstrous looking deer! brutal death for frog monster. the human parts are terrible, annoying guy needs to die. and lastly, the ending where she sings as a spider idol being cheered on by other spiders is hilarious. lol looking forward to next week.

I've only read the manga so, those cuts into the other classmates seemed out of place. Also I don't really care for them, I'd rather see more of our MC.
Episode was decent, but CGI ... just why? I've seen much worse; this one was at least watchable. Yet why did it have to be CGI at all? Why not be hand-drawn like say, Slime .. Would've been much more enjoyable experience.

Heck, the only reason Monster Girls are still mostly handdrawn animation is because their handdrawn human-part cuteness is still important for merchandising. That's why animating a 100% spider protag with 8 legs is left to CG to save more time & money. At least that's how I see it.

CG has an advantage though: It's reducing the danger of sloppy in-betweens.

I think the CG worked well, at some point we'll have to accept that things are simply heading in that direction and stop being so purist and just enjoy what we get. As long as we don't get shit CG, grumbling about it won't let you enjoy anything in the future.
That said, loved the first episode. Don't recall her being such a happy-go-lucky kind of character in the beginning, but she was fun to see. Didn't care for the introduction of the other reincarnations, not sure how they'll handle that in coming episodes, but too much name dropping for people who just got introduced to the series could find hard to follow. In all, considering what we had expecting after the first PV came out (which was awful), I'm very happy with the first episode. The OP and ED were great as well.

There's already some hints of this. For example, the Taboo skill. There's been a number of anime set in a RPG-like world with skills... but how many have had skills that are clearly negative? |

Heh. Kumoko and her room. It's all made up by webs but she treats it like an ordinary room.
As a spider, I'm guessing she's going to get hungry quite often now. Pretty funny episode again as I had expected. The reality of her current life is straight out of an isekai fantasy so she better get used to it. I wonder how much the VA is enjoying her role as Kumoko.
