slightly offtopic:

copule of years ago, i had a .doc file, with a written version of alternate DBZ sequel, where DBGT is discarded, and story contiunes a year after the Tenkaichi Budokai with Uub.

and it was awesome.

unlike DBGT, Gohan was still a Mystic, Uub got to be awesome (near SSJ3 and Mystic), and the story was about first supreme Kais, who died long ago, but their sipirits got corrupted by evil and greed (something like the Ori in SG-1), and they got back to physical world to destroy everything, and reshape universe in their way.

it was an awesome read, cause Kai's were with a lot wisdom and knowledge, knowing everything about sayajin genetics (cause they invented it), and the story was a dual battle - old Kai, and kibit/kai fusion battling first Kai's, mentaly and with ideas, and on another level - sayajins battling first Kai fighters phisicaly.

anyone know about this, or did anyone read it ? i lost my copy, when HDD died .. ?

I don't know, I think it has been worth it despite there being no new material. It's like DBZ with the action and intensity scaled up tenfold.

Don't blame the show for your incorrect preconceived notions.

I believe I said "I" missed the boat on this...If you're not gonna marathon it or watch on a weekly basis then I'm probably not gonna get anything out of it, since again I'm more of type to just FF>> to my favorite parts, sagas, arcs, anyways...Kudos to those who are loving it though, I'm just upset that I waited darn near a year before I knew it was meaningless for me...

Yeah, the Ginyu stuff was mercifully short. Pretty good episode too. I always forget how badly Goku gets overwhelmed by Freeza in the anime.

Boy am I glad, Ginyu filler lasted less than a minute.

Which made for a very awesome and action packed episode. With great music once again. They used the piece that played after Vegeta died for his appearance in this episode and it was very nice. It's good that we're still getting to see and hear him while he's dead.

Only thing that confuses me this episode is that suddenly it's stated Freeza is using half of his power, when in the last episode he himself said he wasn't even using one third of it. I guess he powered up without telling us...?

Quite impressed at the amount of material covered in this episode, and it pretty much explains the sudden ending there before the preview. Brilliant episode though, especially how outstanding the Kaio-ken x20 looked. & very pleased with the music choice for Vegeta's speech. Made the scene extra touching.

Blaat is pretty much spot on, so only two weeks to go!

I may be forgetting or misremembering stuff but I though Freeza said he was using 1/3rd up to that point and then started using half his power.

That was a pretty packed episode to be sure. Goku just threw everything into that huge attack. It might not have won, but it damn well had to hurt.

Yeah, the music was quite powerful in this episode. I loved the piece during Goku's mighty roar as he begins charging up for x20. Awesome scene.

Indeed, it was pretty incredible music placement, and seriously added so much more awesome to the scene. You could really get behind Goku's reason for such an outburst thanks to that piece.

It was track 16 from the second soundtrack, 'The Braveheart's Triumphant Return'.

Hm...Vegeta forgot about Gohan when he was talking 'about the last saiyan' being Goku.

Anyone else find it a bit awkward that Vegeta decided to show up naked? Even King Vegeta and Burdock had the sense to put on some pants at least.
