..with regards to Takenashi Eri being unwell, i think it's only right to take a break from the recent Kannagi issue stuff. Fans/mobs who raged at that rumor probably taken it's toll on her. I feel sorry for her if that happened.

as for affecting the anime, manga readers probably knows where everything will end since it's pretty much following that route. Then when the mangaka is feeling well again and is ready to continue, then, hopefully we'll get a season 2.

Man I wonder if A-1 has the balls to end the anime that this point of the manga, probably not gonna happen since a certain boy has been introduce yet in the anime.

But let's say it did that would be one hell of a cliffhanger.

Yeah, one of the otaku's on 2ch got so enraged his 2-D waifu had a fictional life of her own that she in fact had a boyfriend, he concluded on his own that she mustn't be a virgin and thus trashed his entire manga collection of Kannagi.

On the brightside, everyone else can feel better that no one is that much of a looser cept for this special head case.

Regarding the hiatus, I think things are being blown out of proportion just like the slut thing. It was said there'd be info regarding this (and a possible date for the manga's return) on the 9th's issue.

The cartoon that Village Idiot posted (and several done by the same author) does basically sum it up. Its a minority... but just a very loud one.

In market-think though, it certainly created a lot of exciting buzz as does the anxiety generated by the mangaka's recent "feeling ill" timeout.

The Yuki part should be a big hint. In 4ch it's a gag everyone calls Yuki Nagato a slut, for obvious reasons that she in no way isn't. They do the same thing with a lot of characters and they've been doing this to Nagi since it aired on Tv.

Someone on 2ch just copied the joke (or thought it must have been serious) but took it overboard when the manga revealed Nagi's ex-boyfriend.
