^ And then this fight went on to last eight chapters.

Worse maybe, eight tankubons.

Anime filler team will love this fight...they can slow the pace down however way they want, using Izanami on themselves!

Interesting, now Kabuto has to undo Edo Tensei if he wants to take another step outside that cave, otherwise Itachi will just rollback the manga.

anyone else find out that Izanami is pretty awesome???
hahaha... that's a very cool forbidden technique... nice one, Kishi

Spoiler for why....:

now if Sasuke can use that jutsu against Naruto, the battle will become interesting

Well, I think this chapter seals it.

The Sharingan is officially the most broken technique in this series.

It changes fate in the same way that Grounhog changed fate of a man.

hence Kabuto can escape it, only if he will change himself

@haegar

Episode 4x06 of Stargate SG-1, Window of Opportunity, was truly legendary. ^^

Itachi: It's just a jump to the left

Sasuke: And a step to the right.

Itachi: You put your hands on your hips

Sasuke: And bring your knees in tight.

Orochimaru: But it's the pelvic thrust, that really drives me insane

Sasuke and Itachi: @_@;;;

Could the sharingan get anymore ridiculous .................................All that powerup by Kabuto was for what? To be trapped in this ass-pull without even putting a scar on Sasuke?

So izanagi can alter the reality around the user, despite it being called a genjutsu. Izanami can't alter reality but it can rewind reality to a snapshot taken at an earlier time? One thing seems to be clear: neither of the two can alter the mind of Kabuto in a way Shisui's genjutsu could do, so Kabuto must somehow change his decision and stop the Edo-Tensei, otherwise Itachi failed to stop the Edo-Tensei. I guess this izanami time-bubble makes these repetitions of events be overlapped in time, so that while they can be repeating 2 minutes of events for 1 year but outside the bubble only 2 minutes have passed, otherwise the 5 kages would be long dead by the time Kabuto changes his mind

so this is how izanami works , the target is trapped in the same loop of a limited time and the loop goes on continuing if the target takes the same decision again and again, it looks like the only way out for kabuto is to change his decisions which would change his destiny

All I can say is I hope the Naruto and friends vs. Tobi fight is a hell of a lot better than what we are seeing now.

Oh yes it can. Just wait. Kishimoto's eye fetish has no limits.

well the technique is not all that awesome and all, but it seems a convinceing technique to make kabuto stop the edo tensie ,as genjutsu won't work on him
it's not very much uchiha or a sharingan type technique ,but it looks like a correct technique to use in this situation

That's a very good description of an ass-pull
