It is also better to see their works for yourselves

Personal preference and popular belief are equally valuable, but for different reasons

Hm, especially the second link is funny, discarding retailer rankings in favour of 2chan mob rule

Nonetheless, 2chan denizens are the stable buying force, and their results are not that for apart from various retailers' rankings... considering of course the unavoidable promotion of certain titles.

Hey, respect for the pan... it loyally fulfilled its duty, unlike a headless chicken fulling fooling around

Fixed. Seriously, I really needed something weird yet genuinely entertaining to watch.

I'd better check to see if some film junkie I know of has a good copy of Eraserhead.

I'm not really sure what I just watched. Definitely make you think you been smoking something. It's not a first episode I like it show it's more like what will follow before I can decide. Headless plucked chicken running around.. Bread that bleeds carrot juice though it really didn't really look to resemble carrot juice the way it blobbed up.

oh, the suicide bread is too much shock for people to handle
and make people stop thinking about the meaning

at the beginning,
"watashi" has to turn life objects (livestock) into lifeless food
at the end,
the fairies turn lifeless food into life objects (bread robot) and let them die for human

I don't try to read too much
Maybe, Romeo is trying to remind us "whatever the food looks like, eating is killing"

Got my copy tonight... and as far as the factory is concerned, I also got some Soylent Green shivers.
Spoiler for well...:

End of the World Party 02 - How To Take Over the World Without Really Trying

Chain Chomps are a danger of any factory level. Years of video game playing has taught me this.

It may not be all that creative, for easiness' sake, I'll just refer to the protagonist as Mai. Mai's adventures this week were a bit more high-tension than the previous week, but just as fun to watch. So anything the fairies produce becomes sentient... that's going to introduce some strange magical complications. Given the twist at the end, the fairies still seem overall helpful, just a bit mischievous rather than actively evil.

The chickens, on the other hand, were actively evil. And also hilarious. Loved the translator glasses (and they have good translation sense, too. Liberal over literal). As for the assistant's picture book... Hideaki Anno's Bedtime Stories? Still funny, though.

This show does get me thinking, but mostly, it makes me laugh, and that's why I like it.

I am still not entirely sure what I feel about this series. I am not attached to any of the characters as of yet (although I do like the character designs).

However I have to give the series points for creativity. I also like the extreme dissonance between the art design & what the series is actually about. Besides the title being somewhat of a hint, I don't think anyone can tell what this series is just from the promotional art.

Anyways this episode had me laughing a good bit
