The existence of Imagine Breaker could preclude to a possibility that a person can have both magic and esper abilities.

A sort of bridge between both disciplines.

Hence the catchphrase ending: 'When Science and Magic meets' (or something along the lines of that)

It doesn't matter if Index was 56 or something, she still has the body to be labeled as one.
