That, and the reason why she had to pretend to be a man in the first place is still kinda vague. It was apparently because Ichihime wouldn't have taken kindly to Nobu bringing a woman home but that hasn't gone anywhere. I get that they wanted to make Jeanne Ranmaru, because he was the historical Nobunaga's lover, but they could at least have come up with a better reason for it .
Heck, I'm starting to get the sense that the lovers arcana that Jeanne pulled out was just referring to her and Nobunaga, rather than Nobunaga and Ichihime. I hope Jeanne goes back to her normal knight outfit soon, and gets that sword she has in the promotional material, but it might not happen until the focus shifts back to the Western Star.

Jeanne needs a "male" outfit so that she'll be taken seriously by her opponents. If not, her allies will try to protect her instead of fighting because the other side will try to capture her and rape her to demoralize her comrades/allies.

It reminded of me of Star Driver with the difference that I probably won't like Nobunaga as much as Takuto
I don't get why Jeanne doesn't use woman's clothes, she doesn't fool anyone and I haven't seen anyone who discovers making a very big deal of it

Caesar is totally having scheme to use the Regalia to take over the Western Planet. Nell and Biachi has their suspicions and is going to tattletale to King Arthur.
Well I guess Brutus will have to stab him at the back for that. As for the location of all the Regalia Nobunaga has three, Jeanne has one having sworn fealty Nobunaga serves as her proxy, then is the inheritance that Ichihime has. |

Caesar is still an asshole.
Regalia work because of magical quantum willpower technobabble. A castle build in one night... who falls for that? Jeanne gets pretty clear cut prophecy. Of course the smart thing to do is go to Leonardo to get a much more vague one. Logic? Yes yes Jeanne, listen to Oda's sister, after all blindly believing in someone is proof of great inner strength... ... oh wait, it turns out, sitting on your pretty little ass and "believing in him" did nothing and you had to actually go there and save him with actions. Go figure. So Fire + Lighting = Hoverbike? Oda was in tight spot there, but thankfully Jeanne pulled a Deus ex Machina and saved the day. Okay, so two episodes ago she was going to leave him. Now she's all like "I'll always protect you!". Consistency. |

Isn't Nobunaga gaining power a little too fast? We're not even half-way through the series and he already has 4 regalia out of 5.
On a completely different note, they really need to bring in a better villain. Caesar sucks, and yet I bet they're going to keep around until he end of the show...
