i'm wondering why, but their poses seem to be completely wrong to me... is it me or something?
fate's face is kinda scary...something wrong with the length of the face ~~ (i have a BAD feeling about the grown up versions...and i'm really not a loli lover)

I'd swear their poses are direct copies of old Playmate poses (my brain remembers odd things). I'd bet they used them as reference models.
So they seem pretty anatomically natural but they look like they're floating on the beds instead of *in* the beds ... maybe that is throwing you off?

*shrug* possibly a mix of the 2?
while i was able to substract the original "moe loli" image of the 2, their "apparent" personnality with this kind of pose + the weird perception of their body on the beds might be the cause of my impression ^^"

however, while you are right with their anatomic traits being correct, fate's face still seem weirdly odd in its proportion. meh, i guess i didn't pay too much attention to her "young adult" form these days

I believe Vexx is correct about the historical/conceptual source of these images. At the very least, he's on the right track. Megami posters fall squarely in the tradition of pin-up or "good girl" art -- often complete with requisite cheesecake: lingerie, partial nudity, cleavage and leg shots, etc. (Playboy would ramp things up a few notches in the late Fifties by introducing the nude into relatively mainstream pop culture.) It makes sense. Megami posters are pin-ups.

Megami may be having some ironic fun with these images. They look like centerfolds, and the poses are reminiscent of centerfolds, but the girls are fully dressed. Both images are fairly leggy, but they still contrast with the Playboy centerfold (not to mention a lot of the Nanoha pillow art that's been floating around lately).

Yup, that's correct.

As an aside, the mad scan search in the days around Megami's release each month never ceases to amuse me. That and all the blurry scans enhanced and stretched to a higher DPI than the original image.

It can be rather fun, like a treasure hunt. Besides, image hunting is my pastime. And I don't think people who are unable to obtain Megami magazines would object to it. :3

Oh no... Another Drama CD for Strikers S is coming out... I haven't finished the other 2 sound stage season 1 or the 2 sound stage season 2 yet....

Apparently, it's supposed to be available in the Megami magazine May edition...

Mahou SHoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, sound stage M 'The Strikers'.

They will be talking about what had happened during the 10 year gap to characters and introduce the two new characters Subaru and Tiana.

I would love you forever if you translate this one before the others (when it comes out), assuming you get it.

Ok, Fate turned out to be well built. The apple did not fall far from the tree.

It seems to have some weirdness. That group shot, I mean. By everything I have, Carol's eyes end where Elio's start and Elio's eyes come in line with Fate's breasts, the lucky bastard.
