. All the good adventures that could have come out of this, and they cut it. I'm getting more afraid for Hatsukoi now.

98 isn't the last chapter. I would guess that the one after that is. Well, its all the same now anyway, since its ending. And the reason its ending is because Jump don't like it. Or more accurately, they don't care if the manga itself is good or bad, if it doesn't sell, its out. So they give the mangaka a couple of chapter to end the story.

Maybe it'll end in Chapter 100, I think that would make more sense.

It ends when it ends. A number shouldn't be relevant as long as the story is concluded. Well, I guess it would be cool if it did, though.

Except...when you are forced to end the story off like that, it really doesn't feel concluded. So far it seems like there are still a lot to be told, meh.

99 is a pretty cool number, too, so it doesn't have to be 100.

You know a series is in trouble when it's featured in Jump and yet there's not much Doujin to be found.

I want more of the underrated loli sister here.

it seems that hatsukoi limited will have a more conclusive ending(if not better) than this one. seeing that these two series are already in the process of being canned, HL has definitely progressed more in terms of plot development despite only having less than 30 chapters (kokuhaku scene in HL has already happened while its almost 100 chapters for MxO and still in the process of 'maybe she likes me, maybe not')

geez, double slap in the face for me. two series that i liked, ending simultaneuosly/

Really, that's why i hate SJ, even though they have good series. Two in the reading list are out now.
There should be the "Fuking dead manga" list on mangasupdate.

well ... at the moment i'll look at it in a positive way ... from my point of view its seems like the author is going a fair lengh not to write herself so far into a corner that she can't relatively painlessly work it back on track away from a magazine

I am, on the other hand, pessimistic. As Japanese fans can better tell you, Jump isn't known for being lenient with its "properties." Sometimes manga-ka just move their series to different magazines for whatever reasons, but I've never personally heard of a Jump series doing one. Which means even if the author keeps it open, there's not much chance for a return of Kuzumi and the Mx0 cast.

Poor Lucy indeed. Even if they did transplant her somehow, he wouldn't be able to see her with a standard card... Unless they gave him yet more special modifications, but given the impending end, she's just gonna be SOL. =/
