It's very hard for somebody who knows how to sing on key to sing off key--it's like intentionally trying to write illegibly.

Some say it takes someone with real skill to intentionally do something wrong...repeatedly and the same way each time. Goto singing off key as Mikuru intentionally is one example. Rie Takana singing off key as Yomi in Azumanga is another example. Jack Benny playing his violin off-key (and badly) on stage is a classic example (he was actually concert hall quality capable with a violin).

This is an interesting spin. At first, I thought it was the second season which I only dreamed off, but to my surprise it wasn't. It still entertaining never the less. I had many lol moments in these few episodes so far.

Another (fitting) example would be professional animators making their work look like a bad student film...

I don't know if we're ready for this discussion yet (if it's improper please tell me). Should we consider Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san as canonical in the Haruhiverse? No? If yes, then in a different tier? At the same level as Haruhi S1?

LOL, Yuki becoming an otaku is just funny. I wonder why she needs walkthroughs when she can just breeze past all these eroges, most of them are text anyway. Or maybe she wants to "enjoy" every minute of it, especially those scenes, if you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, and Achakura is too adorable. (Not to be confused with Ashakura in Churuya-san. )

Haruhi shoves a lit firecracker into Kyon's hand for him to use as a weapon. Meanwhile, a small pickup or flatbed truck comes bearing down upon him, probably driven by Arakawa or some other Organization member because, let's face it, who else would intentionally run over Kyon in a motor vehicle, given that Haruhi doesn't drive? Kyon manages to toss the firecracker away in time (resulting in the fancy fireworks that can be seen from the SOS-dan room), but gets run over by the truck, suffering only cartoonish damage.

Episode 5...

Aww, Yuki-chan is so sweet! The way she looks after Achakura makes her look like a mother, dosen't it?

Yuki-chan would make a wonderful mommy, wouldn't she?
