Spoiler for episode 11:

this episode make very clear which yuuta contract with rikka is a serious one and she finally found the last coin and aweken the "dark dragon" to shichima can have her last battle with dark flame master and finally can accep her "lose".

lol more and more nibutani is accepting her "morisummer" side that scene with shichimia lol, yuri power enough to make deko jealous, yuuta already steal her "master" and now shichimia is trying to steal her "fake morisummer" lol, good episode and good closure to shichimia, in the end we get her "bye bye", well since the last "drama" ended probably the last episode will be a funny one.

This episode proves how unnecesary was even introducing Shichimiya in this season.

This episode goes to show that Shinka is best girl by far. Let's see:

1) She's easily the hottest girl in the cast.

2) She's a total bro, always willing to help anyone (even Shichimiya).

3) She's inmune to Yuuta's MC pheromones (only a LV.99 Wizard can pull this off ).

4) Deko's crazy about her (even if she will never admit it).

5) She has lived 1000+ years and still looks like a goddess.

All in all, she's just perfect.


On a more on topic note, I'm glad everything has been resolved. It's a bit sad but it was expected and wasn't as melodramatic as I thought it would be, which is always a plus.

yep nibutani was awesome on this episode, she is the best "chunibyou in the group and more and more she is accepting her chunibyou back lol, if we get a third season probably we gonna see a full chunibyou nibutani lol.

and for a serious note this show how much rikka diserves yuuta her determination for yuuta is umatched and yuuta love for her also indeed at this we already pretty much a garanted marriage in some years.

and here sophia really love her chunibyou more than anything, even more than her "love for yuuta".

even kumin helped with some advice and showed being jealous cuz she not a "full" chunibyou as her friends, but probably with time she gonna ending finding her own chunibyou lol, really for me kyoani is so far one of the best company when comes to do animes and really good(free of many trash otakus "fetiches/cliches their really know how to do a good history/plot.

10/10 for this episode, the only bad side are the shichimya fans rage here

Agree about Nibutani. The love triangle business between the chuunis didn't really grab me, but I really thought that Shinka made a great effort to get the participants sorted out, and for that, I love her even more.

If I had been her hearing the somewhat-clueless Yuuta saying that he hadn't really needed her help before, I would have punched him a few times.

She's now had to get back into the full Mori Summer costume three times this season. At least she's doing it for good causes.

LOL at Deko being jealous about that last appearance.

Well, I guess Yuuta already caught onto what Satone wanted from him after all, so the confession wasn't needed. I take it she'll be gone by the time the last episode is over.

It's funny how both Shinka and Satone had a hand in forging Yuuta and Rikka's relationship to what it is now. Shinka pretty much brought them together and has been Yuuta's voice of reason for quite some time, while Satone's appearance forced them (though mostly Rikka) to take their relationship a step further when they were at a complete standstill. Also, since Shinka is now more comfortable with her Mori Summer side, I'd say Satone did her a huge favor by helping her accept that MS is a part of her, too.

And yes, Shinka = best girl on all fronts.

so after making satone crying give yuta check rika on rain got cold yet with visit from nibutani, kumin, & dekomori yet then ask yuta about "triangle" satone?

which she appear on boat give nibutani being "mom" of them go mori summer to help with satone's probs.

then night yuta got satone visit yet rika go out give find dragon give after worry they found dragon with also satone want to challenge it.

after all well give things are back to normal in way with satone is a born again person.

Personally, this episode doesn't make sense for me! Did Satone accepts her loss in the battle of love with Yuuta?

Even though Kyoto Animation cranked up the spectacular visual effects, it kinda lost me there!

I wonder. I suspect that Kyo-ani is going to troll us by having Satone move away, but at the very end of the final episode, we will see her transferring into Yuuta's High School, as per the ending of the second LN - so as to keep options for season 3 open. .

Of course, the anime is so divergent from the LN, that any number of outcomes to that "Bye Bye" at the end of this episode can be imagined.

One more observation: I keep thinking that Nibutani seems to be tsundere for Yuuta, for some reason.

i dont read the novel but so far i know about even in novel nibutani never showed any real romance interest in yuuta(based on comments and spoilers i read in the novel thread), then i hard doubt she have any feelings toward him i think is just since her claim herself being a master in romance she just want see her friends express their "love/romance".

i believe based on the OP she gonna ending move to their school, we have a final scene in op with her being the club room drinking something and doing her "laught"

I think you got confused because some times Yuuta gets to Shinka when he calls her out on her bullshit. For example, when he tells her that she doesn't really have any experience in love so what the hell is she talking like she's some kind of expert on the matter or something. That makes Shinka embarrassed because it's the truth, not because she's tsudere (well, she's tsundere for Deko but that's another story ).

For what it's worth, Yuuta reacts in the same way when Shinka calls him out on his bullshit. If anything, it goes to show that they're really good friends. They're bros that know each other really well.

TBH, didn't really care about this whole love triangle and its conclusion, despite enjoying Satone's laughing and character design.
Story just seemed all over the place, and the direction keeps trying to bail out the weak narrative with the flashy chunnibyou fights every single time, which was cool the first few times, but it gets old after a while when they just cut everything in the episode to a halt just for that.

Ultimately, I have to agree with this. The flashy chuunibyou fights are still fun to watch for pure spectacle (and this episode is certainly no exception), but they've become overused as an automatic plot-solver. It's becoming a bit too obvious that when the writers write themselves into a corner they just pull out some flashy chuunibyou fight sequence and call it a day. At this point, it feels like a copout to me.

Am I the only one that got vibes that Nibutani was trying to pair Yuuta with Satone? I mean she kept telling/showing him how bad Satone's feeling and expects him to do something. But what? Anything he would have done would be an insult to Satone, might be hurtful to Rikka in some way and just come off as cheap pity. I'm hoping she wasn't hoping he would ditch Rikka for Satone, but that's the feeling I got from her in this episode.
