So, has Milinda ever actually beaten another Object unassisted?
Ever since the Baby Magnum was wrecked and replaced after Alaska, we can assume it's general technology is up to date, so it's First-gen by Design rather than technical specs. Considering that, it is a much better design design than a good portion of the second generation, so why does Princess keep losing? If it's a question of enemies overly specialized for specific environments, it really shouldn't be hard to force terrain shifts: outmanuver the enemy and attack a strategic target by a different approach, bull rush through to better ground, or follow on a friendly Gen-2 linebreaker and rampage behind enemy lines. |

In the anime, not so far, but in the novel, she does later, and provides cover fire for the duo and friendly troops. (i assume this doesn't really count as spoilers?) and we can assume that she has kept winning before the the events of the first arc.

The idea of forcing 2nd gen objects to fight in another terrain is wrong, the baby magnum can fight everywhere but lacks the specialization of 2nd gen objects, that means Baby magnum has less than 30% chances to win. On the other hand you need to keep in mind 2nd gen objects are designed to fight in certain place because they need to protect that place and nothing else, that's where your theory fails. Baby magnum is nothing but a diversion so Quenser and Heivia can find the weak point on the enemy object, just then the Baby Magnum can increase the chances to win ofer 50% and sometimes in the LN almost 100%. |

I was referring to duels with other objects, which seem to be the standard for conflict in this setting. The problem I would have with assuming she was winning prior to Alaska is that her record from that point on gives no reason to believe that was the case.
