This series is about a middle school kid, named Fujita Tatara, who was unsure of what he wanted to do with his life until one day when he was saved from some bullies and then introduced to ballroom dancing. He's inspired to learn dancing and desires to become good enough to compete at dancing competitions.


If you want just one reason to read this series, read it for the artwork. The artwork is fantastic; not only is it greatly detailed, the dancing sequences are exciting and can get you pumped up .

The scanslation for this manga has really picked up. It's up to chapter 27 now (monthly series, so 27 is like 6 volumes), and one of the most addictive sport manga I've read yet. It is really unique in that it's about competitive dancing, and has a seinen mature approach to it instead of being pure shounen like most other sport theme manga. The MC is very admirable, and so far there has not been a single dislikable character yet.

People have different tase, but this manga is REALLY worth a try for the first few chapters. I heavily recommend it.

P/s: It's also rated very high on bakaupdates (9.2 average)

An ordinary middle school student, Fujita Tatara couldn't find any objective in life and spent his days idly.
One day, a group of delinquents picks a fight with him and he is saved by a mysterious man.
After that, the man surprisingly takes him to a ballroom dancing class. While being inspired by a girl dancer who goes to that school, Hanaoka Shizuku, and her partner, a genius dancer, Hyoudou Kiyoharu, Tatara starts dedicating his youth to dancesport.

Yeah, many key points are similar between them. Thin, short black hair boy with brushy, spikey head. Though the artstyles of the 2 mangas are so different its hard to compare

Well, given how bad Tatara still is, pretty much any girl out there will be better than him, so having someone bad at following to balance it out like Chinatsu is refreshing. Since Chinatsu is also relatively bad, I'm really looking forward to how they will grow together.

The Tatara x Mako pairing was adorable, but it was clear from the onset that It wouldn't last, and Tatara x Chinatsu is just so much more fun and dynamic.

Plus, tsundere rocks, and a realistic, non-violent tsundere is even better

Eh Chinatsu is bad at her role, but not a bad dancer, at the very least she's on a higher level than her partner, her body is much better trained than his , also since the chapters are translated don't see a point in spoilers.

2 more new scanslated chapters are out! These have been some of the most romantic chapters yet of the series. I can't wait till both Tatara and Chinatsu enjoy their unity.

It's confirmed in this chapter that Mako is head over heel for Tatara too. The way she waited on page 25 so that they both leave the dinning table together is so cute

this is a great manga, it is original, has humor, good art, interesting characters that we are getting to know slowly, and most all it has great GREAT potential. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, so i would be really gratefull if some tell me is this is a montly or bimontly mamga.

It becames bimonthly around august i think but it's currently on Hiatus according to the official twitter.
