This episode was so akward in so many ways... OC Izumi

I guess she still found that lesson useful if she had forced Elrics to do the same. Though it's a bit unfair... they are kids but she was 18.

EDIT: Now I would so pay to see an OVA with Armstrong family... better also in the past. Imagine small Olivier and Alex, that would be hilariouse

She didn't send them to Briggs, but to a warm isle instead. And with a guard who made sure they stayed alive! Who attacked them the whole time, but still! ..

The Izumi OVA was pretty awesome. It was worth seeing for her (and the animals') crazy epic facial expressions alone.

The episode of Tales of the Master was awesome I kept laughing through out the whole ep XD Izumi is just sooo hilarious XD and the way they met and fell in love was simply a WIN XD


I can't wait till the fourth OVA I'm soo looking foward to see how Hughes and Roy met

That part was just hilarious, reminded me of the dating sim from Gintama, except the girl was carrying a swordfish instead of a bear

Great OVA. So it looks like Izumi pretty much learned Alchemy on her own...? I can't remember if it was said or not in the manga.

I'm not sure if it's confirmed but the fourth and last OVA's going to be the animated version of that Roy and Hughes gaiden (His Own Battlefield? Can't remember the name...). I'm SO EXCITED

That person's blog (sorry can't remember his/her name) where the usual FMA information comes from says it's about Roy and Hughes' first meeting, which would be an anime only original scene, since the manga never showed it.

It's a neat ideia, but I'll be disappointed if they don't take the opportunity to animate His Battlefield Once More as well, since it's probably my favorite gaiden. It adds a lot to Roy and especially Hughes' character. (it's like the one occasion where we see him truly serious and emotional)

Another great adaptation of the manga gaiden! Izumi - natural enemy of the kuma.

Yeah, I think her alchemy is pretty much self-taught. She did figure out its principle all by herself after all.
