This show, guys. This fucking show.
Anyway, the only thing I can even say at this point is that no matter what happens, I'm gonna be shippin' Mato x Yomi all the damn rest of the way. Who knows what else these crazy fuckers are gonna throw at us, but that's the one thing I ask the ending not to throw away. For anything else they've got planned for the final stretch of this eight-episode run, my body is ready. Some amazingly badass action sequences this week. I think, by this point, BRS has completely justified its hype. |

I think that much like in the case of Yomi and Kagari, Mato was involved in whatever accident killed Yuu, and never got about it. She has been running away all this time, and that's probably why BRS is killing everything in sight in the otherworld.

Wow Yomi cut her hair to make a bracelet. THe final painting was messed up as well. How does Saya get away with choking a student in school? So i still don't get why Yuu doesn't have a house? Wow Mato made it just in time to see herself kill Yomi. Insane BRS appears!

Just keeps getting better and better. BRS going up against Dead Master and her skeleton army was a thrill to watch.~
So this was quite the exposition dump this episode. From what I gathered, Yuu may just be a figment of Mato's mind or something? And she seems to have direct connections to the Otherwold and can bring Mato into it? And Saya is actually planning to murder Mato? She did say that "I don't have to kill you right now". Damn. This is just a guess from the current info we have right now, but I think Saya's plan is probably to soothe people's grief by fully utilizing the Otherworld where the other selves take the brunt of the pain, so the people in the real world don't have to deal with the pain themselves and thus makes it easier for their minds to heal. Of course, it has been demonstrated that there are disadvantages of that method, which is the the protagonist (Mato) is against having happen. But damn, looks like she did break too. I guess seeing yourself unwillingly stab one of your friends straight through the gut may be enough to do that. And I called it. IBRS is the result of the change in Mato's psyche. If normal BRS was already this brutal to her foes, I can only imagine the carnage IBRS would wreak. I look forward to seeing it myself.~

DM's scream when getting killed sounded like something from a horror movie.
So the part where Kohata asked, "Who's this?" on the bus did not actually happen but was a figment of Mato's imagination? While it's not necessarily unbelievable, it's stretching it a little bit. Most shows with imaginary characters specifically avoid having other characters interacting with the non-existent person. This opens up some new developments, such as Yomi's jealousy in the past episodes. Seems that she was jealous of the imaginary girl who Mato refused to let go. And how did Yuu manage to talk to the counsellor as well as Mato to tell her about the other world? If she were indeed imaginary, this would not be possible. It's starting to seem as though what we saw in all the previous episodes were not actual reality but a warped version that Mato sees in her mind. +++++++++++++ "No, Mato, you are the demons." And then Mato was a zombie. +++++++++++++ |

I don't think Yuu have to be a real person to begin with.
Based on the preview I just saw, it seems to me she can be the one who revealed the existence of the other world to Saya in the first place (but that doesn't explain Strengh, though). It could also be just a shenanigan... Edit : ^ Ninja'd ! |

Does anyone know if the main anime poster art exists without Matou+Yomi in the middle?
Spoiler for BRS anime poster art:
I sure hope it does, but I have not had any luck looking for it. I have hope that it exists however, since this image (which clearly is the BRS that exists behind Matou+Yomi) exists with the previously hidden portions visible Spoiler for BRS complete from poster art:
If anyone knows, I'd sure appreciate it Spoiler for Episode 6:
