- The original text says that 'three children emerged'- this is because only three have been identified so far in AlternateS.

- As for the rest of the devices, i'll add them up in time- still looking for base images and some of them are still not activated, as well as their keepers- though Phalanx- a spear, will be the next on post, along with his Keeper Aranth. Might as well as 'Burning Arisa' in as well.

- well as for messing with the default setting, there is always 'Setting 0'. but detail on that when i complete the Sealed/Key devices and when i Say Sealed, it means that their 'h4x' abilities are still sealed, but since it's post-AlternateS here in the thread- they are now called Key, 'h4x' abilities unlocked.

- while we're on the subject of field manipulation and this thread is post AlternateS, Nonaha would also take a shot against Serge and AO, since she has Gospel- 'The staff of beginnings and ends'- we can say that it's another version of a manipulation device- though it involves all magic aspects- from neutral to holy.

Well, that's OK with my story I guess. I think everything will get along nicely. I even have some new thoughts to involve Key Devices maybe, but I'm not sure yet and will probably PM you before I decide on anything.

Kyla fought them because they were doing something in her base premises- since the AX/MD6 coop merger had started since the hunt for Fangwang began.

Andrei sees it as a Mutual Interference Issue between bureau sections- a big no-no- they could have just asked MD6 plainly and Andrei would not suspect anything for the meantime- unless he feels an intent. And maybe he has seen something more.

We're talking about Intelligence Department - they're not going to simply ask anybody about the subject they don't want others to know that they're interested in And as long as they escape consequences they're fine with breaking some rules

Packing their stuff up, the girls couldn't help but frown at the aspect of leaving their snuggle buddy and instructor Zafira, but Mabiko's promise that there will be two two snuggle buddies at the new location perked them right up. Hayate and the others were sad and troubled to see them go, especially with Mabiko's ability as a Destiny Weaver, but Mabiko assured them that there wouldn't be any problems. Poor Zafira almost gave up his ghost as the girls gave him one crushing hug after the other as they assembled at the runway.

Hayate: Are you sure you want to go? You're going to miss meeting the new recruits.

Mabiko: I don't think they will grow properly if a Double Ace Plus Rank is intimidating them. Besides, having the three of you around should be enough, not to mention all your knights, Hayate.

Fate: Take care, Mabiko. Auron-jichan's place is a little chaotic.

One by one, each girl of Skyfox took flight, hovering in place before the takeoff, as the girls jacket colors changed colors to coincide with Mabiko's magenta barrier suit, something she had requested Star Core to create to help remove reliance and stress on Eisenfach.

Mabiko: ...GO!

The arrow formation took off in a burst, skimming along the seaside as a car passed below on the seaside road. Its young passengers looked on in awe as Signum continued driving, completely unfazed by the display. The two passengers began to ask questions

???: Ne, Signum-san. Who was that leaving base just now.

Signum: Tennoka Mabiko, one of Testarossa's close friends. She was a TSAB-contracted mercenary before being recruited as a Solo Enforcer, stationed at our base until you arrived. A transfer request came through and she accepted.

???2: So Fate-san's friend is just leaving...

Signum: It's nothing to worry about. Tennoka-san is very strong. She can handle herself very well.

The car drove on, stopping at the the base. Meanwhile, the flight formation passed a training field as a ruins formation was set up. Two people could be seen preparing as Mabiko and co. zoomed overhead and made a wide turn towards their destination. One of the people saw the emblem on Mabiko's visor for a brief moment as they passed over.

???3: Who was that? That looked awesome!

???4: (That marking...the Sky Vixen!? What was she doing in this area?)

???3: Hey partner, don't space out now! We've got a certification to practice for.

???4: R-right...

A completely separate and unique take in the history of magic. Very interesting. how long did it take you to think all of these up? You can set up entirely new arcs just going by these.

Very well, I guess I'll do the skip now. This is post Rein1 battle and post Serge discussion. Aurion is currently standing just around the RF6 premises for a turnover of something he found. The Aces have all been notified and are currently heading out to meet him.

I turned around, looking at my welcoming committee. Soon enough, a brown-haired blur collided with me with a delighted giggle and an affectionate hug. Smirking, I gave her a pat on the head and scolded her playfully, “Yagami-butaichou, still breaching military protocol on a regular basis?”

The girl in question looked up at me in a most childishly cute glare. “But Oji-chan is not in the military, right? Mou, please stop being so strict with me nowadays!” she replied, puffing her cheeks at me after letting go.

Snickering, I ruffled her hair and looked at the others. It looks like my ‘nieces’ are all here. I addressed them one by one, “Nanoha, Fate, and Keroko. It’s been a while.”

Nanoha gave me her trademark sweet smile in reply; Fate gave me a polite wave, albeit smiling as well. However, Keroko, who was behind the group, was giving me a most peculiar look. Almost as if she’s wary of me. I stared questioningly at her, to which she visibly flinched upon eye contact. What the-?

“AH! How come you addressed them informally?” Hayate complained in her much-practiced spoiled girl glare and tone whenever I’m around.

I was forced to abandon my questioning frown on Keroko as I looked down once again at Hayate. Ah well, I guess that matter can wait. I raised an eyebrow and opened a telepathic link with Hayate.

‘Well, that’s what you get for taking two and a half hours off my working time.’ I chided her mildly. I was rewarded by a bright blush and a look of guilt from my favorite ‘niece’ as she looked down.

‘Sorry.’

Smiling, I pat her on the head once again and continued, ‘Hey, don’t sweat it. It was good to be able to talk with someone after all those days alone tinkering with the new equipment.’

Well, that got her smiling again. Though it’s still obvious to me that she’s quite stressed out no matter how hard she tries to hide it. You’re acting too hyper, Hayate. I don’t need to study psychology to see that flimsy cover up.

Man, so many appointments in a manner of a few days. I went onwards to give the others a pat on the head, once again noticing Keroko’s discomfort when she clearly stiffened and blanched even before the contact. This time, she didn’t escape her adoptive sister’s sight.

“Keroko-chan, what’s wrong?” Nanoha was now beside her, looking worried. “You look pale.”

“A-ah? It’s n-nothing. Ahaha…” Keroko gave a somewhat convincing forced smile and retreated a bit. Playing along, I also stepped back a few paces to give some space between us. The other two girls went over to her to ask what’s wrong with her despite her protests. I engaged her this time in telepathy.

‘Georashi, if there’s something wrong, can you tell me later?’

‘Y-yes.’ Even her telepathic response was strained…

What the heck is wrong with her?

“Sempai!”
[Hakase-taaan!]

Kha came jogging towards us, with Sakura in her Unison Device form floating after him. Honestly, that device. Calling me ‘Hakase-tan’. What kind of a nickname is that? I let the girls fuss over a protesting Keroko as I held out my hand to give the newcomer a handshake. “It’s been a while, Kha, Sakura.”

“Yes it has.” He replied in good cheer, clasping my hand in a friendly handshake as the Unison Device waved merrily at me from behind his head. To my bewilderment, his eyes widened, the right one changing color to blue at the contact. Whispers? He immediately let go of my hand and hunched over a bit. His other hand went to cover his mouth, his face showing an expression of almost throwing up. What’s this?! Not you too!

Sakura had a stricken expression on her face upon Kha’s unusual reaction, looking at me with horror. She looked like she was about to speak but seemed to have been cut off by Kha in a quick telepathic command. What’s going on?

Kha pushed a button on Tausend Kreuz, which emitted a blue beam to recall Sakura into her portable form, all the while eying me suspiciously. Okay, now what the hell is going on? I opened a telepathic link with Kha, ‘First, Keroko, now you? What’s going on, Alexie?’

‘You… Are you really Sempai? How come you seem so-’ He looked like he was readying for combat, Tausend Kreuz clutched tightly in his hand, ready to be deployed.

‘What are you-? Ah, crap, let’s talk about this later.’ I jerked my head in the girls’ direction. ‘Keroko’s going with us.’

I slid out Almaria and pushed a certain button, making her and Tausend Kreuz glow simultaneously for a second. This is our unique way of identification, letting our devices do the check. I’ve got one button reserved for each of the Aces with me right now.

‘Will that confirmation do?’

Kha visibly relaxed after the verification. ‘I guess. But the Whispers are still screaming bloody murder.’ He raised his right hand to cover his discolored eye, smiling rather embarrassedly. An irate Sakura was soon released afterwards, where she proceeded to pull on her master’s hair for the sudden recall.

[Father, you meanie! What was that for?]

“Ouch! Stop it, Sakura!”

I smirked at the younger man before hearing indignant whining coming from behind me.

“I told you, I’m fine! Please let me go!”

I turned back to the others, noticing a struggling Keroko who was being held by Nanoha and Fate while Hayate ‘examines’ her for anything wrong. Just as Sakura finished prodding my head to make sure it’s safe to plop on, Hayate started her ‘interrogation’.

“No, no, no, Keroko-chan. You can’t hide it. Tell us, what’s bothering you?”

“I told you, I’m- W-wait! What are you doing?”

Now, now, Hayate; isn’t that being forceful?

*giggle* “I can make you talk even if you don’t want to~.”

“W-what?! Please don- AHN!”

[Sekuhara! Wii~! Go, Hayate-chan!]

“…”

What the-? She really did it! And Sakura, just why the heck are you cheering her on?!

“H-Hayate, isn’t that a little-”

“Fate-chan~. If you want, you could join her too.”

[Yay! Fate-chan too!]

Damn, Hayate’s losing it. I turned my eyes upward to the errant Unison Device who was currently bouncing on my head. Aaand Sakura, I swear that you’re not helping to diffuse the situation.

“E-EH? W-why me? Nanoha, do something!”

“Ehehehe…” Nanoha simply backed away slowly with an apologetic smile on her face.

Very smart move, Nanoha. Don’t let her get you too.

REALLY now, these girls are still definitely teenagers, playing like this out in the open. Though I must admit that I never thought Hayate could take on the two taller girls simultaneously without any help. Keroko and Fate were now looking at me and Kha pleadingly for help…

Well, maybe only at me because a quick glance at Kha revealed that he has already covered both his eyes with the hand he raised earlier, an expression of utter humiliation on his face. However, I can see that his finger that covers one eye is twitching on and off. Yup, still teenagers alright. Heh, very well then.

“Hayate, how about we get to business? I still have to turn over what I found.”

Hayate, upon hearing my proposition, reverted back into professional mode and left her ‘patients’ (or in my point of view, ‘victims’) alone; all in the matter of a split second. Wow. That was fast.

Nobody was permanently harmed in the making of this scene. The colored text were for easier identification of the girl speaking. Any suggestions?

REALLY now, these girls are still definitely teenagers, playing like this out in the open. Though I must admit that I never thought Hayate could take on the two taller girls simultaneously without any help. Keroko and Fate were now looking at me and Kha pleadingly for help…

Well, maybe only at me because a quick glance at Kha revealed that he has already covered both his eyes with the hand he raised earlier, an expression of utter humiliation on his face. However, I can see that his finger that covers one eye is twitching on and off. Yup, still teenagers alright. Heh, very well then.

“Hayate, how about we get to business? I still have to turn what I found.”

Hayate, upon hearing my proposition, reverted back into professional mode and left her ‘patients’ (or in my point of view, ‘victims’) alone; all in the matter of a split second. Wow. That was fast.

Nobody was permanently harmed in the making of this scene. The colored text were for easier identification of the girl speaking. Any suggestions?

Nanoha gave me her trademark sweet smile in reply; Fate gave me a polite wave, albeit smiling as well. However, Keroko, who was behind the group, was giving me a most peculiar look. Almost as if she’s wary of me. I stared questioningly at her, to which she visibly flinched upon eye contact. What the-?

“AH! How come you addressed them informally?” Hayate complained in her much-practiced spoiled girl glare and tone whenever I’m around.

I was forced to abandon my questioning frown on Keroko as I looked down once again at Hayate. Ah well, I guess that matter can wait. I raised an eyebrow and opened a telepathic link with Hayate.

‘Well, that’s what you get for taking two and a half hours off my working time.’ I chided her mildly. I was rewarded by a bright blush and a look of guilt from my favorite ‘niece’ as she looked down.

‘Sorry.’

Smiling, I pat her on the head once again and continued, ‘Hey, don’t sweat it. It was good to be able to talk with someone after all those days alone tinkering with the new equipment.’

Well, that got her smiling again. Though it’s still obvious to me that she’s quite stressed out no matter how hard she tries to hide it. You’re acting too hyper, Hayate. I don’t need to study psychology to see that flimsy cover up.

Man, so many appointments in a manner of a few days. I went onwards to give the others a pat on the head, once again noticing Keroko’s discomfort when she clearly stiffened and blanched even before the contact. This time, she didn’t escape her adoptive sister’s sight.

‘Y-yes.’ Even her telepathic response was strained…

Kha came jogging towards us, with Sakura in her Unison Device form floating after him. Honestly, that device. Calling me ‘Hakase-tan’. What kind of a nickname is that? “Yes it has.” He replied in good cheer, clasping my hand in a friendly handshake as the Unison Device waved merrily at me from behind his head. His other hand went to cover his mouth, his face showing an expression of almost throwing up. What’s this?! Not you too!

Sakura had a stricken expression on her face upon Kha’s unusual reaction, looking at me with horror. She looked like she was about to speak but seemed to have been cut off by Kha in a quick telepathic command. What’s going on?

Kha pushed a button on Tausend Kreuz, which emitted a blue beam to recall Sakura into her portable form, all the while eying me suspiciously. Okay, now what the hell is going on? I opened a telepathic link with Kha, ‘First, Keroko, now you? What’s going on, Alexie?’

‘You… Are you really Sempai? How come you seem so-’ He looked like he was readying for combat, Tausend Kreuz clutched tightly in his hand, ready to be deployed.

‘What are you-? Ah, crap, let’s talk about this later.’ I jerked my head in the girls’ direction. ‘Keroko’s going with us.’

I slid out Almaria and pushed a certain button, making her and Tausend Kreuz glow simultaneously for a second. This is our unique way of identification, letting our devices do the check. I’ve got one button reserved for each of the Aces with me right now.

‘Will that confirmation do?’

Kha visibly relaxed after the verification. ‘I guess. But the Whispers are still screaming bloody murder.’ He raised his right hand to cover his discolored eye, smiling rather embarrassedly. An irate Sakura was soon released afterwards, where she proceeded to pull on her master’s hair for the sudden recall.

“Ouch! Stop it, Sakura!”

I smirked at the younger man before hearing indignant whining coming from behind me.

I see Necronic influence, or something that Kha and Keroko battled before here.

And... Seeing Fate getting that must be driving many fantasies in Kha, since he only can't feel bitterness, hate or irrational anger. I must say though, Keroko getting it is something waiting to happen.

The shot then shoots over to the Saga vs Tiara, shooting their own Breaker Spells over the skies, causing a large explosion as the camera pans over Zerstroritter vs Wolkenritter, each one fighting one another, as the camera pans over again to a huge war-scale battle between thousands of Belkan Knights.

They are reflected strongly in my open eyes.

The last shot is a stil that shows Schwertekruez Null's in her keyblade form and the Tome of the Night Sky in the middle of the flower field, with nothing else around them...

Well, this took about an hour to draw, due to some inexperience in drawing feet and how to fluidly draw the bed sheets (yes, she's on a bed!), and I also haven't drawn tails for a long time.

I told you that he was to be like an unserious and more crazy older Kyon before, right? I had a blast writing that part.

Packing their stuff up, the girls couldn't help but frown at the aspect of leaving their snuggle buddy and instructor Zafira, but Mabiko's promise that there will be two two snuggle buddies at the new location perked them right up. Hayate and the others were sad and troubled to see them go, especially with Mabiko's ability as a Destiny Weaver, but Mabiko assured them that there wouldn't be any problems. Poor Zafira almost gave up his ghost as the girls gave him one crushing hug after the other as they assembled at the runway.

Hayate: Are you sure you want to go? You're going to miss meeting the new recruits.

Mabiko: I don't think they will grow properly if a Double Ace Plus Rank is intimidating them. Besides, having the three of you around should be enough, not to mention all your knights, Hayate.

Fate: Take care, Mabiko. Auron-jichan's place is a little chaotic.

One by one, each girl of Skyfox took flight, hovering in place before the takeoff, as the girls jacket colors changed colors to coincide with Mabiko's magenta barrier suit, something she had requested Star Core to create to help remove reliance and stress on Eisenfach.

Mabiko: ...GO!

The arrow formation took off in a burst, skimming along the seaside as a car passed below on the seaside road. Its young passengers looked on in awe as Signum continued driving, completely unfazed by the display. The two passengers began to ask questions

???: Ne, Signum-san. Who was that leaving base just now.

Signum: Tennoka Mabiko, one of Testarossa's close friends. She was a TSAB-contracted mercenary before being recruited as a Solo Enforcer, stationed at our base until you arrived. A transfer request came through and she accepted.

???2: So Fate-san's friend is just leaving...

Signum: It's nothing to worry about. Tennoka-san is very strong. She can handle herself very well.

The car drove on, stopping at the the base. Meanwhile, the flight formation passed a training field as a ruins formation was set up. Two people could be seen preparing as Mabiko and co. zoomed overhead and made a wide turn towards their destination. One of the people saw the emblem on Mabiko's visor for a brief moment as they passed over.

???3: Who was that? That looked awesome!

???4: (That marking...the Sky Vixen!? What was she doing in this area?)

???3: Hey partner, don't space out now! We've got a certification to practice for.

???4: R-right...

Guess who the question mark people are...and the first two guesses don't count.

Very well, I guess I'll do the skip now. This is post Rein1 battle and post Serge discussion. Aurion is currently standing just around the RF6 premises for a turnover of something he found. The Aces have all been notified and are currently heading out to meet him.

Spoiler for A Visit to RF6, Part 1: Meetings:

I turned around, looking at my welcoming committee. Soon enough, a brown-haired blur collided with me with a delighted giggle and an affectionate hug. Smirking, I gave her a pat on the head and scolded her playfully, “Yagami-butaichou, still breaching military protocol on a regular basis?”

The girl in question looked up at me in a most childishly cute glare. “But Oji-chan is not in the military, right? Mou, please stop being so strict with me nowadays!” she replied, puffing her cheeks at me after letting go.

Snickering, I ruffled her hair and looked at the others. It looks like my ‘nieces’ are all here. I addressed them one by one, “Nanoha, Fate, and Keroko. It’s been a while.”

Nanoha gave me her trademark sweet smile in reply; Fate gave me a polite wave, albeit smiling as well. However, Keroko, who was behind the group, was giving me a most peculiar look. Almost as if she’s wary of me. I stared questioningly at her, to which she visibly flinched upon eye contact. What the-?

“AH! How come you addressed them informally?” Hayate complained in her much-practiced spoiled girl glare and tone whenever I’m around.

I was forced to abandon my questioning frown on Keroko as I looked down once again at Hayate. Ah well, I guess that matter can wait. I raised an eyebrow and opened a telepathic link with Hayate.

‘Well, that’s what you get for taking two and a half hours off my working time.’ I chided her mildly. I was rewarded by a bright blush and a look of guilt from my favorite ‘niece’ as she looked down.

‘Sorry.’

Smiling, I pat her on the head once again and continued, ‘Hey, don’t sweat it. It was good to be able to talk with someone after all those days alone tinkering with the new equipment.’

Well, that got her smiling again. Though it’s still obvious to me that she’s quite stressed out no matter how hard she tries to hide it. You’re acting too hyper, Hayate. I don’t need to study psychology to see that flimsy cover up.

Man, so many appointments in a manner of a few days. I went onwards to give the others a pat on the head, once again noticing Keroko’s discomfort when she clearly stiffened and blanched even before the contact. This time, she didn’t escape her adoptive sister’s sight.

“Keroko-chan, what’s wrong?” Nanoha was now beside her, looking worried. “You look pale.”

“A-ah? It’s n-nothing. Ahaha…” Keroko gave a somewhat convincing forced smile and retreated a bit. Playing along, I also stepped back a few paces to give some space between us. The other two girls went over to her to ask what’s wrong with her despite her protests. I engaged her this time in telepathy.

‘Georashi, if there’s something wrong, can you tell me later?’

‘Y-yes.’ Even her telepathic response was strained…

What the heck is wrong with her?

“Sempai!”
[Hakase-taaan!]

Kha came jogging towards us, with Sakura in her Unison Device form floating after him. Honestly, that device. Calling me ‘Hakase-tan’. What kind of a nickname is that? I let the girls fuss over a protesting Keroko as I held out my hand to give the newcomer a handshake. “It’s been a while, Kha, Sakura.”

“Yes it has.” He replied in good cheer, clasping my hand in a friendly handshake as the Unison Device waved merrily at me from behind his head. To my bewilderment, his eyes widened, the right one changing color to brown at the contact. Whispers? He immediately let go of my hand and hunched over a bit. His other hand went to cover his mouth, his face showing an expression of almost throwing up. What’s this?! Not you too!

Sakura had a stricken expression on her face upon Kha’s unusual reaction, looking at me with horror. She looked like she was about to speak but seemed to have been cut off by Kha in a quick telepathic command. What’s going on?

Kha pushed a button on Tausend Kreuz, which emitted a blue beam to recall Sakura into her portable form, all the while eying me suspiciously. Okay, now what the hell is going on? I opened a telepathic link with Kha, ‘First, Keroko, now you? What’s going on, Alexie?’

‘You… Are you really Sempai? How come you seem so-’ He looked like he was readying for combat, Tausend Kreuz clutched tightly in his hand, ready to be deployed.

‘What are you-? Ah, crap, let’s talk about this later.’ I jerked my head in the girls’ direction. ‘Keroko’s going with us.’

I slid out Almaria and pushed a certain button, making her and Tausend Kreuz glow simultaneously for a second. This is our unique way of identification, letting our devices do the check. I’ve got one button reserved for each of the Aces with me right now.

‘Will that confirmation do?’

Kha visibly relaxed after the verification. ‘I guess. But the Whispers are still screaming bloody murder.’ He raised his right hand to cover his discolored eye, smiling rather embarrassedly. An irate Sakura was soon released afterwards, where she proceeded to pull on her master’s hair for the sudden recall.

[Father, you meanie! What was that for?]

“Ouch! Stop it, Sakura!”

I smirked at the younger man before hearing indignant whining coming from behind me.

“I told you, I’m fine! Please let me go!”

I turned back to the others, noticing a struggling Keroko who was being held by Nanoha and Fate while Hayate ‘examines’ her for anything wrong. Just as Sakura finished prodding my head to make sure it’s safe to plop on, Hayate started her ‘interrogation’.

“No, no, no, Keroko-chan. You can’t hide it. Tell us, what’s bothering you?”

“I told you, I’m- W-wait! What are you doing?”

Now, now, Hayate; isn’t that being forceful?

*giggle* “I can make you talk even if you don’t want to~.”

“W-what?! Please don- AHN!”

[Sekuhara! Wii~! Go, Hayate-chan!]

“…”

What the-? She really did it! And Sakura, just why the heck are you cheering her on?!

“H-Hayate, isn’t that a little-”

“Fate-chan~. If you want, you could join her too.”

[Yay! Fate-chan too!]

Damn, Hayate’s losing it. I turned my eyes upward to the errant Unison Device who was currently bouncing on my head. Aaand Sakura, I swear that you’re not helping to diffuse the situation.

“E-EH? W-why me? Nanoha, do something!”

“Ehehehe…” Nanoha simply backed away slowly with an apologetic smile on her face.

“………”

Very smart move, Nanoha. Don’t let her get you too.

“Here. I. COME!”

“AAAHH~!”

REALLY now, these girls are still definitely teenagers, playing like this out in the open. Though I must admit that I never thought Hayate could take on the two taller girls simultaneously without any help. Keroko and Fate were now looking at me and Kha pleadingly for help…

Well, maybe only at me because a quick glance at Kha revealed that he has already covered both his eyes with the hand he raised earlier, an expression of utter humiliation on his face. However, I can see that his finger that covers one eye is twitching on and off. Yup, still teenagers alright. Heh, very well then.

“Hayate, how about we get to business? I still have to turn over what I found.”

Hayate, upon hearing my proposition, reverted back into professional mode and left her ‘patients’ (or in my point of view, ‘victims’) alone; all in the matter of a split second. Wow. That was fast.

Nobody was permanently harmed in the making of this scene. The colored text were for easier identification of the girl speaking. Any suggestions?
