^True, but at least we saw how Negi struggled and progressed, despite him being a genius. But there was no explanation for Nagi's power, no techniques, no backstory, no progress, only an overpowered character.

I've been bothering ever since about Touta's last name. I mean what did Konoka (since she is the most affected of the group between Negi and Asuna) do before Touta was born? ��
I was expecting the sad ending to show after the happy ending but ever since the terorist attack, well, will the sad ending appear in 2 or 3 chapters? I can't wait for 2-3 months for it. ��

I doubt we'll ever get to see what happened with Konoka because she obviously married Setsuna and Akamatsu can't possibly show that in Shounen Magazine. This is Kodansha's equivalent to Shounen Jump, after all. It's too mainstream to show an actual gay couple.

The epilogue in Negima's final chapter said Konoka and Setsuna both married in the same year. It doesn't outright say they married each other, but the panel shows Setsuna carrying Konoka in her arms, so...

Basically, Akamatsu left it ambiguous so he could have his cake and eat it, and I doubt he's going to change that now. Like the poster above said, no way he's going to be allowed a gay marriage in a mainstream magazine, but there's also no point on marrying them off to random new characters other than upsetting shippers.

Also, the term 'gay' may apply to male and female homosexualism alike.

Today's the release day (technically it was yesterday in Japan) and yet there are no news or spoilers whatsoever, huh? Did the interest on this series only shrink after the anime? Because the Blu Rays were supposed to come out in January 31 and I don't find any information on them and how they turned out (what did they do with the censorship, whether there are animation improvements and extra scenes or not) anywhere either. Asking in these boards' UQ anime thread days ago got me no answers there either.

EDIT: I just read somewhere else the UQ Holder!: Mahou Sensei Negima! 2 Blu-ray BOX (apparently the only way to purchase the anime) only sold 833 units.

I only saw pictures from twitter and how it looks like inside the boxes.
Nothing really amazes me when I see it even though there's a Nodoka Card. Sad.
