Why must you try hard to get harem when you can just laze around with busty loli who will never betray you?

That in itself is attractive situation
But is that what this novel is about?
This is about fighting heroes, defying and romancing gods, and protecting demons
Kuna is just distracting from all the fun adventures, because all she thinks about is Kuroki and vice versa

彼らがクロキに負けても失うものは何もないですね。
殺されない、弱くなってない、仲間の信頼を失わない、ハーレムに見限ったわけでもない。
レイジは一時的に気落ちしたけど、もう回復した、ずっとハーレムに励まされ続けた。

クロキの方は得たものが少ない
どんなに頑張っても報われない
どんなに功績を積んでも認められない
どんなに格好良くても女は寄って来ない

^ yeah i'm about to give up on my expectations of this author, just saw one of his impressions(recent one, also might be raging before understanding 100%) and he answers that for this he wants an adventure fantasy so romance isn't going to be progressing much, i'm like fuming

first if you're going to be focusing on adventure(meaning you're confident in your writing skills) why introduce so many useless romance parts, let's get it straight, he knows most 80% of readers are there for romance and relationships resolutions, otherwise with just the little skills he has at plotting and complex writing(better than many fanfics but on the long run its really, without the relationships, just about decent), people would have dropped long ago, and he knows it too by many of his impressions, since he is actively delaying progress and character development(both mc and hero party and not just romance) so that answer is kind of a hypocritical one

and on the other side if you're focusing on adventure wouldn't it stand to reason to get anything getting in the way clear, like those tons of misunderstandings arent really necessary for an adventure focused novel, all you need is plotting and actual 3D characters(which isn't necessarily his strong suit, i means this doesnt have even one 3d character in it cough reigi kuna ..... cough ) so go on speed that along and shows us your imagination and writing skills cause then you only need to focus on the adventure fantasy part and world building

i don't know if he kind of pissed me off or i was just expecting too much of him, but i'm really hoping i misunderstood that, cause otherwise this along with some of his procrastination on advancing the story has made it and him drop points with me

^ yeah that's another thing that is annoying if he was going for the adventure feel it would stand that resolutions wouldn't be played for comedy like he does, and so actions would have consequences, long standing ones for both protagonist, side characters and villains, but he isn't doing that and almost nothing gets serious treatememnt in the end(he almost always goes for the light resolution dissipating any dark developement that was before and kind of getting in the way of his own novel and that "adventure fantasy" he wants)

and that's why it feels weird seeing that impression, it's like pick a choice mate make up your mind, also after sleeping on it, it is definitely expectations, cause i'm not that bothered by lesser novels, because you know what you're getting, with this it raised my hope for it, and the author is slowly killing it

This can go nariagari (as Ankoku Kishi in Nargol), go real adventure like one he did in Egypt, complex romance with enemies and rival's harem, etc
Problem is... author chose none of them, story goes nowhere, at least not yet
With weekly update, it's getting more apparent, just slow progress
Nothing can be done about it
The only solution is to lower your expectation, like by looking for new novels
