No, I mean the guy who annulled his engagement with her. That little bastard acted super selfishly, but at least it was for "love". But when it turned out that his shit made his wife unhappy, instead of trying to think of ways to make things better, he's just annoyed she cries all the time and has unfaithful thoughts.

Yeah, it kinda funny right? In the first timeline, he hates MC that much he refused to have sex with her, but now in the 2nd timeline, he starting to regret not marrying the MC and hates his wife for being useless. I guess this is karma.

Finally got round to reading this and it's not as good as I'd thought it would be. Up to chapter 40, it's the same "dealing with petty schemes" in the backyard drama as in most other FeMC reborn series, and I don't like the smarmy male lead Yu Qi. Since it's obvious he's going to win her over despite her best protests, I don't see the point in continuing.

Also, this manhua is really doesn't shy away from keeping killing young girls non-stop.

It seems that MC family is cursed as if every bad thing keep happening to her siblings and parent while Yuqi keeps getting favor from his father just by trolling everyone.

Yes, and that plot looks like it's still ongoing in the new timeline. My point is, she may have escaped (by chance) other plans, and what her husband really wants is to get rid of her. He's not too picky about the means as long as he gets out of it smelling like a rose.

Well, killing her wife may get people suspicious about him, especially if he wants to get his new lover into the family. Better find a way to push his wife to commit suicide due to scandal without dirtying his hand I guess?

Also, Chapter 116 is out, and it finally explained that there is indeed someone who wants her family to suffer and die.
