Game winners like that? You don't see it often in soccer.

Haven't won a match against them in over a decade

US vs Japan like most predicted but it could have easily been Canada vs France.

In Women's soccer for the Gold! A rematch of the 2011 Women's World Cup final; between U.S., and Japan. Will The U.S. redeem themselves, or will Japan once again overcome the odds and win? This match is gonna be big! I can't wait!

I was guessing he was doing some jumping into a pool. It is just comical, though, with that picture. He must have been spinning so fast.

Wow China, and U.S. are really competing for the most Medals/Gold Medals! I'm surprised Japan, Canada, and Australia only have 2 Golds!

I was trying to do the math yesterday. I think we're either going to get a close victory in total count (but not gold) or we'll stumble through the week and not come close in either. We'll hold onto second, yeah, but it won't be that close.

I feel like, now that swimming is over, we've kinda stalled out. Definitely relied a lot of swimming these games for most of our golds.

As for that photos... I think there's some photoshopping going on there, but maybe not. I know that when you see any athlete in slow-mo during a period of great exertion, things can look weird, but this pic looks especially weird.

Whooo go Japan for double gold in football~!

Our flag bearer just crashed into a fence in the triathlon... That's really depressing.

Canadians are currently raging against the game vs USA like how USA raged against the Chinese female swimmer. Sigh.

Rooting for Japan to go all the way. I'd love to see South Korea make it tough on the Brazilians later today as well.

Such a pity that the Chinese woman's team lost to the Japanese. 5 games, everyone of them decided by 2 points. Best luck next time.

No, volleyball. I didn't even realize that I forgot to mention the sport. The game was intense.

The table tennis is currently playing. I already predicted silver for Ai-chan.

Speaking of table tennis, the way Japan demolished SG...well, think it's more than fair to say they will be the new contenders from this year on.

Victoria Pendleton beats Anna Meares to the line by 0.001sec
In this handout photo finish image supplied by Omega, Anna Meares of Australia and Victoria Pendleton of Great Britain cross the line in Race 1 of the women's Sprint Track Cycling Final on Day 11.
They need a limit on significant digits. That's so worthy of 2 gold medals for the two of them.
