Well, we aren't getting UBW or Bahamut level unless this became a lot more popular in Japan than I recall, but it'd be nice for it to get a boost all the same.

Well, a lot of people here seemed to like it. A lot of good stuff was cut out and some of the most badass fight scenes ended up crude due to a lack of budget.

Basically: The battles were very samey. The stories were kind of fun. Someone who read the novels in their entirety said quite a bit of details were dropped out.

I enjoyed them enough that I'm thrilled that Yen Press got the license to the light novels. Will definitely be picking them up.

Do you have an idea of where that was mentioned? I'd like to check it myself but 50+ pages is a big deal for me...

I hear the novels already covered that in a 2-volume adventure.

That said, I remember there were remarks in the anime that Kojou's 4th Progenitor powers were necessary to fight an incoming great evil. Perhaps another season can address that.
