Would it be safe to assume that DCPC and the original DC have different OPs? The DC OP that Konata parodied in ep15 of Lucky Star didn't look similar.

Yes, and the music used in that parody was obviously taken from the anime instead of either of the game versions.

What I can do is send people the patch myself because I have it in my computer.

The sites that had the patch are currently down, but AvatarST has them on his computer available to be sent via e-mail. I have them too, so if you want I'll send the Alpha patch via e-mail if you PM me the address.

And let me just give props to the one who did this partial translation - I certainly hope he or she will continue to translate the game. I'd like to lend a hand, though my translation skills are very limited.
