Well, the Kanabo is an uncommon weapon that wasn't used as much as the Katana. Which can be good in a way, cause using a typical weapon all the time can get boring and stale after a while.

The Kanabo can do a lot of damage if used right. It can break swords, shatter bone and crush armor.

No, it's not about ethics either.

Sex is just one part of the problem, not entirely. There's also losing one's dream and unable to fulfill his assigned role. In case of "he bang some girls", he's confused with the emptiness after he done the deed (the lack of required emotional attachment and support).

He's a second year student, so Ichika & co learn from it when the problem is solved.

So he realized he wasn't really a pervert but just someone really lonely. Then because he found his acts as both unnaceptable to himself and to society he's ostracizing himself by subconscious self-depreciation. Sounds about right for a lost teen.

Now I need the choice of 'friend' in question, but I.S. cast has a shortage of girl that fill the qualification :|

EDIT: OMFG I suddenly imagined Clarissa visiting Japan to catch a glimpse of the guy who caught Chifuyu's heart. And the first person she bumps into the airport is Gentarou. Who embodies all of the standard shonen hero characters in the flesh. D:

Or is Clarissa strictly into bishonens from shoujo? hmmm....

Oh great, now that I just reminded myself that Genta represents all shonen heroes in the flesh maybe he attracts Kanzashi from Ichika's harem. Given at the point Genta trips into the IS-verse, Kanzashi isn't part of the harem yet. >.>

No, not only the story, the character themselves too. How many are drawn to him, how strong, how they behave around him, what's the reason, all determine this parameter.

For example, Kanzashi having crush on him is understandable. However your idea of Clarissa visiting for seeing him with her own eyes, if I have to be blunt, that's really absurd.

I'd just say be careful with choices of character interaction, as well as spotlight and development

Clarissa originally was interested in Chifuyu's type of guy. Because let's face it. Knowing Chifuyu the valkyrie goddess, what kind of guy would attract her? Normally it would be the other way around. Well it was just a passing thought but I just wanted to at least say my piece on it.

How much of a facepalm moment is it if a girl walks into a guy's room and tells him that she's pregnant with his baby. Then it is promptly corrected that the actual guy was the one in the next room whom they both barely knew. The act was drunken so memory could be hazy.
