Hello people!

I'm new here, but i've been reading the forum a lot as a guess.

Since no one seems to have asked before.

Anyone know where/when "Captain Future" might be available?

I've not been able to find it anywhere, not even as DVD or VCD original or whatever.

It's one of those old Anime we... well most of us grew up with, and it's a fond memory to be able to go back and watch them, specially all those Missing episodes the TV never showed, or well you missed cuz probably were out hanging out with friends and stuff.

It'll be great if any FanSub group can release it.

and this being such a Historic Ancient tittle i'm quite sure any "licencing" has been over by now.

Like recently the Candy Candy series has been "revived" and even another antique like "Bluenoa" and many more, so i just thought maybe some one might have them stashed on VHS or something that can share with the world

I watched it, so you are not alone.

It was a very popular anime here in germany, maybe THE most popular at that time. I have rewatched parts of it recently, though I am not really enthusiastic about it anymore.

Edited TV version DVDs are available here, unfortunately without any other language subtitles or dubs than german. You might not want them anyway, I read, the changes to the story are not so cool...

The music btw was also changed. The german version is pretty good (better than the japanese opening song imho for example), though I think not many here can agree to such babaric acts like altering anime
