I guess I am biased, but I've never seen how more racism will solve racism. I am insulted for it to be suggested that I need my hand held by society and I know many others like this.
I remember there was a while where I tried to be extra "considerate" towards LBGT people when we suddenly came to the conclusion hat it was patronizing as fuck and we can't interact each other like it was a padded room. To me, it seems like a divide and conquer strategy. You throw scraps out and let groups fight over them. Some groups are more oppressed than others so they get more benefit. It gives them an excuse to hate each other, while keeping them away from the real enemy. You can see it with race, which is why no doubt that there's a lot of racism between different groups as a result too. And it also attempts to detract from the issue of class which is a far, far bigger deal. The obsession over race is laughable in the US. And we always have the excuse of our history. Yea, because there was never ever racial violence over in Europe. Especially not for centuries. Get over yourselves.

acknowledging that [insert] are at disadvantage at certain things is not racism
but you're right in that those in power are trying to take attention away from rich people and corporate capitalism people are literally going to die because of Trump healthcare policies, but they'll manage to spin and put the blame on other things (and I maintain that this is exactly the reason why Trump was elected) I voted for Sander in the primaries. I think he's right that dems should not just focus on identity politics (and while still being corporate democrats)

It's not but it's the approach, and especially uneven approach towards minorities that aren't as represented that I see as the problem; maybe because I may fall into that group or whatnot.
And what's more insulting is the lipservice from both parties where they have constantly waged a battle against poor people essentially with things like the War on Drugs that has led to us being one of the biggest incarceration happy countries in the world. Amongst other examples. This just seems to be what we are going back into. #nolivesmatter

@KeyBoard
Your line of reasoning is exactly WHY Trump won. You lost the game you instant you decide there is a hierarchy between races and religions. You have totally misunderstood why Anon is so against your line, NOT ALL Anons adhere to /pol/'s toxic bullshit. People should be judged on the merits of what they said and what they do, no what race, religion and sexuality they are. The instant you say, "Hi, I am *race/religion/sexuality*, and here is my story/argument" you leave yourself open to people excluding you because they can disregard you according to the little boxes you checked or not. Also, the mere fact that you are suggesting that white homeless people are better off than others is just as heinous. And dont fucking tell me they are privileged, etc... That we cant be racist against them. My childhood friend was the target of constant daily harassment from the thugs in the neighborhood BECAUSE he is fully ethnic French (he can trace his ancestry all the way to before World War I). The hypocritical assholes constantly brought up the colonization to justify how their harassment is righteous. Go read what you have said, you said you think that identity politics is wrong, yet many of your previous posts ARE poisoned by identity politics.

But It's not me that decides the hierarchy
It's society. I am merely pointing it out. I had an easier time getting a job when I changed my name to something more western. I don't know which country you reside in, but it seem that is proof why discrimination is real, and why it's an issue that still needs to be addressed. different countries have different racial dynamics, and as far the US goes, the advantage is clearly leaning towards a certain side. But as Sanders said, the focus on just this, and also being corporate democrats is what let people down. edit: Quote:
1) you have people that claim that not only a disabled person is getting their own space. They are also getting a new sports car and driver along with the deal 2) you have people that say, that no, it's barely a parking space and it even bleeds into the pavement. This is not enough. Which is more truthful? I'm inclined to say 2) and but those at the very top are trying to propagate 1) as being true. But as you said, I think those at the top have grown skillful in manipulating sentiments. And I think it's working to a degree. How many "millennials are lazy and entitled snowflakes" headlines have we had in the recent years?

The government released their first full budget and it's not just bad, it's beyond stupid. Not even frivolity would defend it and he defends everything even remotely republican. Apparently they made a slight math error too, predicting 2 trillion dollars in extra federal revenue growth over the next 10 years (used for Trump's tax cut) but then counts them again to offset the budget deficit.
TLDR; There are 2 trillion dollars too much in the budget. And there's also the issue that the budget literally takes the hatchet to social security programs. Just to name a few examples, 72 billion from disability insurance, 610 billion from medicaid and 880 billion that are already in the healthcare plan. |

Well, that was one terrible meeting in Europe. Quite a difference to how he acted and behaved in Saudi Arabia or Israel. Macho-hand-holding-contest, shoving the Montenegro president aside to be first in line, no pledge to Art.5 to stand by Nato allies. Oh boy, the next four years are going to be soooo fun.

the best part is his face after he pushes the guy, the expression of "i'm the boss here" which he made make everything look ever more comic, he is really something, not good and really crap but still "fun", trump could perfet fith in a parody comedy movie like scare movies or top secret or others crazy comedy movies, he is perfect for that job.

No sense of decorum whatsoever, he really embodies the expression 'thick as pig shit'. Now that I think about it, it would have been fun if the Montenegro PM decked that orange baboon. Somebody really needs to shove that baby in the corner soon. |

you can provide the numbers please????.
man the more see about him the more i think which north korean ditactor start to look less "unique" by being a crazy doushbag, when we have in the other side his USA counterpart trump. another thing why USA keeping using this "fail system" of elections, where a guy which lost in a shamefull way in number of votes still won "because he get more small provinces"(and even that provinces many he not won by having all votes but by having majority and this giving him "all votes" even peoples wchih didn't vote on him, why usa don't use a proper direct votes election like most of the democracy countries???
