Eiko Shimamiya will be releasing two new Higurashi related songs called WHEEL OF FORTUNE(運命の輪) and ディオラマ(diorama). I don't have much info on it, so I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Talking about Higurashi music, do you think a version of Thank or you has any chance of being featured as Higurashi's final episode ending song? Would you like to see some piece in particular in the series ending?

You will never be part of the anime.... But I suspect the Yours ver of Thanks will be as it reveals what the fate is of one of the characters

However, that's as much doujin material as "you". It probably has no effect on the real storyline. Unless I'm just not far enough (although the anime doesn't seem to be touching that particular issue) then you might as well keep mum about it. Great song though.

By the way, according to the official site, a new image album will be released December 21st. It's called こころむすび (Kokoro Musubi) and some samples of songs are up as well. Artists from Kakera Musubi return to sing in this one and many new ones join in. http://www.animate.tv/kokoro-musubi/

It has both English translation and romaji. By the way, the song isn't new per se...Matsuri has been out for awhile. They may be re-using that song for Kakera Asobi though. I'm sure I've been hearing "Nageki no Mori" in the recent commercials for it though.

In Minagoroshi 8 (Higurashi Kai 13) from 17:09-19:17, there is a really good song playing in the background. I don't think it's on the original soundtrack. What is it called, or is it not released on CD?

There's going to be one? Yay!

I have the 1st season sountracks 1 and 2. I didn't know if it would be on there or not. After all, a lot of the 2nd season music is the same as the first season.
