I was wondering when that would happen- For a long time now I had my personal suspicion that Kamachi wrote this series as his counter to the things he disagreed with FSN lol.

I just realized that I liked Roberto's quote about testing the strength of humanity because Touma made a very similar quote in the climax of Volume 22. So they feel similar.

Also, until I looked at Wikipedia I didn't know FSN was Fate-Stay Night, lol. I just checked when the first book of Index was published and when FSN the game came out and wow that is a pretty close time of release. Considering how long it takes Kamachi to write new books you may very well be right. Though I still find it a little hard to believe he managed to plan out lots of the series that early on... in 4 months... and write book 1... I don't know, but it feels weird to me since because of how fast he wrote book 2, many of us feel like he had the idea planned out from book 1... That's definitely interesting though. And I appreciate that view-point since I personally love one and am very meh to the other one (which I guess is why I read this series)...
