Haha i love this show. And Hotori is my favourite too!!
(Her design looks so much like the 2nd sister in Yotsuba! btw). It's great that you can found a mature enough teacher (at least in this episode) who basically do not becomes the joke butt for his student And the ED was pretty creative. I means drum with guitar, violin and that other instrument (that the name escaped me) in traditional Japanese (i guess) singing? Your rarely see such combination All anime series this season which i checked are superb so far (Kami no mi, Oreimo and this)

Quite a nice episode, I laughed often throughout the episode (especially more in the 2nd half, the teacher is great) and I like the characters as well. I have no complaints about Omigawa's voice, to me it seems like it's on-purpose to show that she is really unsuited as the average maid, kinda like Fran Descher's nasally voice from the TV Show The Nanny. I find the strange oddly charming, somehow. Can't wait for the blonde maid to show up.
Yeah, about this one, this one isn't incorrect, right? Not like gg make a mistake or they mean it in the old meaning (happy) of the word? Well, I guess that's to be expected as SHAFT seems to come up with strange lyrics often (Venus to Jesus, anyone?) |

interesting character designs and lol at the girl with huge teeth. It was a nice first episode and I found myself chuckling a few times this season's anime titles are way better than last seasons. Also I love the ending can't wait until they introduce the blond chick.

I saw the first episode and found it quite interesting. I laughed at how they were supposed to be a maid cafe yet not act like one. Kudos to the dirty blond (brown?) haired girl who tried to teach her what a maid is suppose to do. I am curious as to when the blond hair girl is going to appear.

Exactly. I felt sorry for the math teacher who probably thinks she has a severe mental or learning disability. When he catches up to them, she doesn't even know her homeroom teacher's name, then serves him cola instead of coffee, because they are both "brown".
I thought the show was hilarious, and am looking forward to more.

Lol. Wasn't that great? In her case, I can totally see it. Semi-intentional stupidity and complete lack of attention.
I've watched the episode again, for maybe the third time, and it doesn't get any less funny. Omigawa and Yuuki both have some beautifully delivered comic lines. I don't know what's happening to me, but I'm really coming to appreciate Omigawa's comedy, and accepting that voice. Sugita seems just perfect, sitting Arashiyama down to lecture her about her behaviour. A combination of serious and bizarre. And both the OP and ED are growing on me even more. This is a good season for OP/EDs, and these are two of the best.

I love the ending and how it makes it seem like they're chilling out together and playing. The buildup is infectious too.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. I'm really like voices that are easily distinguishable, and Omigawa's voice is so lovely to the ears =03. She has that 'shrill' in her voice that I rarely hear from other notable VAs.
The only thing that I noticed, but didn't bother me, was the animation. It was like there wasn't enough...movement...no, maybe frames? or something to keep up with all of the changes in gestures and different tone in the voices the chars were having at times(even though other times it was done really well, with the dynamic camera and all). The protagonist's name easily reminds me of Natsu no Arashi(i guess a nod of shorts by the original author?). Hopefully, I'll can get the same level of experience from this as I did NnA, and while this first episode isn't quite as good as NnA, it's still quite entertaining and is certainly up there =03. |

Oh wow I didn't honestly know what to expect from this, I did like the manga but really never gave much thought about this series till now.
That was something else, a maid cafe that isn't quite a maid cafe, the madness of it! ED is the best ED I've seen this season and def a top contender for the year. Reika Yazawa is a new VA? She sounds great in the ED, I really look forward to hearing her.
