This Week's episode:
Iruka's Determination - イルカの決意 ~ Iruka no ketsui .

Description:

After searching for some time, Iruka finds Naruto in the woods and tells him to return back to the Leaf Village. Naruto quickly escapes by performing the Sexy Technique on his academy instructor. Naruto then runs into three female ninja who are from the Hidden Waterfall Village. They want information on the Leaf Village's border patrol that Naruto had discovered earlier before Iruka had caught him. The ninja chase after Naruto and then they encounter Iruka again. Iruka and Naruto try to run but the Watefall Village ninja are too powerful. Kakashi then comes in to save the day. Later, back at the Leaf Village, Iruka thanks the Third Hokage for making him Naruto's academy instructor. Iruka's flashback about his past ends. Meanwhile, Sasuke wakes up and tells Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo that they're going to the Leaf Village. Meanwhile, back in the Leaf Village, Yamato reaches the destroyed site. He meets Shikaku and he informs him that Naruto defeated Pain and that he was able to control the Nine-tailed Fox by himself. While they are talking, an ANBU member approaches Shikaku and tells him that he is expected at a very important meeting.

second half looked fantastic, as expected. Also, the last few minutes are canon scenes from the current arc.

yea a few mins of canon scenes but now back to more Filler =\

It was a fair episode. Nothing outstanding but pretty enjoyable for filler.
Next week looks like it will be a complete waste of time though, but we'll see.

Yeah, it was decent. By the second episode of these filler I thought I would end up hating exsistence due to sheer crappiness, but, I've ended up being mildly enjoyed, and that is good enough...for mostly filler episodes at least.

Looks like fillers will be going bak and forth with canon.

And looks like they will re-animate some old scenes.

Naruto aka Sasuke sure looks akward in that kiss scene.

Not bad for a filler, I did loled at Naruto's attempt to do a sexy no jutsu, and it conviniently had a bikini because there isn't any smoke to cover the naughty parts. LoL

Well, as long as the filler is good, ain't complaining. I hope next week's isn't just some remake of old scenes, then it will still be enjoyable, i miss part 1 anyway.

Anyone else noticed.. strange sounding of initial dialog by Naruto and Iruka in forest? They both sounded like they were in a room, not in forest, y'know what I mean. Like the acoustic team f*cked up their job..

I like how these fillers don't even make Kakashi hesitate to whip out Raikiri on mere fodder.

Yeah, slight filler plot hole, but its whatever, they wanted to show off a little. I'm sure Kakashi could have just kunai'd them to death.

Well, on that note, plot holes happen everywhere in Naruto, can't catch everything in a world where the rules are made up.

I don't see a problem with that. But I wonder why that Raikiri left the three girls untouched, as we see them tied up and perfectly fine right after.

Kakashi is a gentleman. Or he was feeling generous to not kill them. Honestly nothing wrong with a little Kakashi fanservice. The mini-arc was enjoyablr. And it was actually good to see some simple jutsu again.

Not sure about the filler next week though.

Lord Shikaku. I was surprised to see he was head of the jounin. Which makes him Kakashi and Gai's superior. Even the ANBU Yamato and other ANBU guy seemed deferential to him. So he has got to be right near the Kage in rank.

It's gotta be because of his intelligence. Shikamaru would prolly have a similar position in the future. But I wouldn't say it makes him better than the other Jonin, just the one in charge. You wouldn't say Shikamaru is more powerful than his fellow chunin, but I would still have him in charge of their missions.

When Naruto becomes Hokage, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes Shikamaru his
right-hand man, since he'll probably need someone to help him with the mental
heavy-lifting.

Let's face it, being Hokage requires more than good fighting skills, you also have to
worry about administrative duties and village politics. I just don't see Naruto
excelling in those areas.

It's goog but I really don't like flashbacks... The last few episodes of Naruto was fantastic! His fight with Pain was really amazing. I'm looking forward for more ninja fighting on the next episodes.
