I think so. If they focus more on the characters than the world, then it would be a good thing. There are series where the problem of the world is solved at the cost of the characters and it ruins some of it.

I wouldn't mind if they never gave a cause to infection and just focused on how on how the main characters will survive in Z-world. I know some people are anal about origins and such but it wouldn't bother that much.

Also it wouldn't be all that surprising if they never ever found out the cause considering you know everyone is turning into a zombie. Also its kinda hard to keep track of the news when zombies are trying to turn your innards into dinner

The cause is not why I watch zombie shows. The cause ironically is the cause for why I stop watching.

yeah resident evil gave a cause, but think that might have been so they could introduce the whole corrupt corporation aspect along with the Z-world, also it with the origin explained it also gave a cure for recently bitten victims which was and interesting outlook on a zombie movie, never seen one in any other zombie media.

but still, i don't realy care about a cause, mostly because IT'S ZOMBIES

. when your smashing brains in left and right do you need an explanation as to why your doing it?
