Got the VC artbook the other day from Amazon.

Wow. Amazing! I am very pleased with this purchase. Thanks to everyone here who mentioned this book!

Got my artbook today. Glad I waited for a price drop. It's so heavy! And the text is really tiny

Yeah, the small text is kind of annoying.

The Japanese VC3 artbook has been announced and it's coming at November 24th.

More info: http://blog.valkyria3.jp/2011/10/20111028-371d.html

Already pre-ordered it at HobbySearch for 40$ USD. The shipping should not be above 20$.

I ordered PlayAsia's last copy of the VC3 artbook. Looking forward to seeing what's inside, considering that it's unlikely I'll ever get to see an English release of the game...

What did Play Asia sting you for the Art Book? I got mine off CD Japan. Can't remember how much I paid but positive it was the RRP.

$56.49 US, but I paid an extra $30 for EMS postage. Looks like I did myself in on cost, but I did not know about CD Japan until you said so. Meh.

Play Asia have a good service but they are very overpriced in most anime related media. Plays to shop around but it's all a learning experience, mate.

Received the artbook earlier in the week, and also got the OST for VC3.

The book felt shorter in some respects compared to the last two, but there's still plenty of good stuff in it.

Spoiler:

It's strange listening to the OST when you have no idea which track corresponds with which scene in the game.

Yeap! So far i find CDJapan and HobbySearch to have the best prices and shipping. Prices are as low as what you would pay in japan and shipping ranges around 17 dollars i think? I got mine from CDJ aswell, ~56 total.

Leaving aside for the moment the debate about whether moving the game series to the PSP was a good idea, it has come to my attention that it might be, like Cthulhu, 'dead but dreaming' if this article is any indication.

Guess if nothing changes, I'll probably get VC3 for the PSP when I get the time.

Got me the two artbooks when I was in Singapore. So it's all good.

Unfortunately, the VC2 artbook has one typo and the glossary seems to have duplicate entries. Maybe I'll snap some photos and complain to Udon about that.
