You're speaking as if there was a CORRECT way.
Ikoma is in junior high and only goes to Keima's school to use the swimming pool, is there really another way to attract her attention?
I suppose you prefer Yukie's method, which in this case would be to act as a pool-boy for three months (more than six months if Ikoma doesn't visit the pool everyday) and hope for the best.

According to the photo taken in the first grade Keima was already heavy into gaming at that age, which is quite disturbing considering the genre he is into.

Strange thing about the osananajimi though; according to the photo she and Keima were never really close, why she would choose Keima over the other boys from her former class is quite suspicious.

According to chapter 56, the new demon also has a high success rate of 7 captured spirits. Which should prove interesting or dangerous, if she is the type that captures spirits by "getting rid of whoever is in the person's way."

I wouldn't be so sure, she's still cheesed off because she didn't receive a medal despite capturing 7 spirits since she still lost to Elsee who captured 9.

Plus, unlike Hakua, who considers Elsee a friend and thus unlikely to harm Keima, the new demon definitely is NOT friendly towards either Elsee or Hakua as shown by the fight in chapter 56.

(Okay, Hakua DOES harm Keima on a regular basis, but she does it out of love and will never use the blade of her scythe on him. )
