Man, all I can say is that was one hell of a troll by the series' creator. Really, it was a nicely done reintroduction of the primo 2nd gen angeloid Chaos as she educates the new girl for her last lesson on exactly why she can't hold a candle to the original.

The manga's gotten interesting again now that the end of the comedic chapters are in sight. And with Chaos no longer following Synopsis's orders after having gone rogue and her new onlook on love=pain+death, she feels much more dangerous and will pose a more viable threat this time around.

so ...Daidalos indeed have a time with Tomoki in the past.
If Tomoki is a human, then Sohara probably came when Daidalos got Abducted by Synapse (the Bastard Lord raise to the throne). May be Daidalos sent her to cheer Tomoki up (after his 1st memory erasing). Or else, Sohara must be remember Daidalos (except if Tomoki and Daidalos meeting secretly or at Synapse)

eh?, some one didn't know Daidalos?, she is Ikaros, Nymph, Astarea creator (and may be Harpy too). She's appear in chapter 1 as seen in Tomoki repeated dream, as the girl Tomoki admit to like and like him back (may be his girlfriend...or ...wife). She's the one that throw down Ikaros from Synapse to Tomoki and help Sugata from Harpy wrath after infiltrating Synapse via Tomoki dream from Dream Dive Game machine.
According to Nymph and Ikaros reaction in the chapter about memory erasing procedure after Hiyori death, Daidalos probably well known throughout Synapse at least by all 1st generation Angeloids including Nurse Angeloids (the one Sugata and Sohara encountered in Synapse)
And IMO she's the one deserve Tomoki love, far more than anyone else, not even Sohara (the Killer Karate Chop girl), Ikaros (Faithful Servant) Hiyori (Poor Angel) or Nymph (near expired Angeloid) can be a match for her in term of closeness with Tomoki (altough she's barely appear and her face never shown)

The only ones unworthy of Tomoki's love/caring is Mikako (if possible), Soihara and Sugata. All 3 should just die and pass on their screentime for more Synapse plot, Ikaros, Nymph, Astraea, Daedalus and hopefully Hiori.

Also Daidalos would not have sent sohara to cheer up tomoki as it was tomoki who befriended and cheered sohara up. I also dont assume that tomoki is human either, he has something to do with synapse, we just dont know what yet.

It could be tomoki is Daidalos's childhood friend and could have very well lived on synapse for a time. Just seems odd that Daidalos would randomly have such strong feelings for a person if she had not atleast know them for a long time

the Bastard lord, Nymph, Astarea, and Chaos stated/call Tomoki as one of the"Downer" (living organism below their feet)

most memorable is when Astarea during her re-boot, spill her mission to kill the downer "Sakurai Tomoki" after encounter Tomoki realm LOL in presence of Sugata at river banks (before Mikako come and create snowball war which summon Snowhara)
that's is 1st clue that Tomoki is not Synapse citizen. "Downer" applied by Synapse only to human

Due to Tomoki dream about dew field in 1st chapter color page I'm wondering if it's just his dream or the place is real since Sorami city didn't have such field.
that's our clue that somehow Daidalos manages to meet Tomoki not at Sorami city or bring him to Synapse

At first chapter, Sohara conversation with Tomoki (in class room after Sohara wake him up) implied that Tomoki already receive his tearful dream since he is a kid and also mean Daidalos already separated from him when he is such young age.
Its a clue that Daidalos indeed know Tomoki in looong time

I hope we can see chapter about Tomoki and Daidalos 1st meeting, may be in Daidalos flashback, since Tomoki's memory about her already erased (so he can't remember her face)

Some connection thingy that you want to know is Tomoki irk Synapse (and it's Council) because he entering Synapse once in the past (clue:Astarea reboot). May be the stress he acquired due to never invited to a Christmas party (clue:chapter where Ikaros ask Tomoki if he ever celebrating it) enabled him to come there via dream and meet Daidalos for the first time (??)

well there is still a possibility that Tomoki met Deidalos in the time where he was left alone by his friends... becouse he of his passion put his friends in danger of getting hurt... like he implaied that each year he started to lose friends... and one year he was not invited to any party and was left alone...

maybe Deidalos saw Tomoki in that time... and come to him to cheer him up... eventually they grew a strong bond.... but later deidalos was taken... and tomokis memory has been erased...

yet like he done with hiori... those feelings that that person was close and important to him remained...

I guess when deidalos disapperaed sohara moved in and tomoki befriended her... still no clue if sohara is human or just like hiori a illusion send from synapse...


maybe tomoki was the base case of creation of that dream system (body on synapse -> illusion body on earth..... while tomoki's is reverse... body on earth - > illusion body on synapse but he does not need any machines for that to happen... while synapse citizen need to be locked in those tubes...).... since why all those houses there exist anyways if all the citizen are sleeping... and well how can tomoki save deidalos if none of angeloids or sugata or deidalos thought dreams can tell him to do so...

maybe tomoki is a former synapse head... while deidalos was his childhood friend/girlfriend/wife/soulmate.... but somehow tomoki was overthrown by the current sunapse guy or even killed by him so current tomoki is another reincarnation and his dream ability was a sign of his return...

anyway we can speculate becouse we know nothing about deidalos besides that she created ikaros ect.

hmmm... and we have to remember that ikaros already existed LONG LONG ago... where she destroyed the babylon tower... so deidalos had to exist at that time... so the question is.... HOW OLD IS TOMOKI... she looks like she knows tomoki for long long time... but he couldnt exist at the time of babylon tower XD

so maybe tomoki is not human but he doesnt remember his former self as his memory was wipped clean... time will tell...

but it would be intersting if tomoki was a dormant synapse citizen a very powerfull one... (ikaros mentioned that masters wings are bigger than anyone else...) or deidalos first creation... no human can survive so many karate chops of sohara !! ;p

other question is does ikaros even know her mission... did deidalos put a mission to go to tomoki and save her from the synapse guy.. or she doesnt know anything about deidalos needing any help... deidalos allways says that she send tomoki angeloids becouse she wanted him to save her [saveing her reffering to deidalos]

there's possibility that Tomoki meet Daidalos while he's so young (a kid) but Daidalos already hundreds years old (but appear as youth since she's an angel) which make Tomoki easily befriend her.

Chapter 9, if ur using Hidoi's scan then it might explain why you didn't see it cause they didn't include that page in it.
