A few cool combos with Dlanor off an antiair 6B :
6B -> 624X -> 5C (ground hit) 6B -> j.624X -> 2C (ground hit, more damage, but a little bit harder to connect) 6B -> j.5C 624X -> 2C 6B -> 6B -> 624X -> 2C (ground hit) 6B -> 6B -> j.624X (corner) -> 2C (ground hit) 6B -> 236236C (can be done twice) -> 624X -> 5C (ground hit) 6B -> 6B -> 236236C (can be done twice) -> 624X -> 5C (ground hit) 6B -> 6C -> meta -> 641236C (6C must be timed correctly or else it'll either miss or the opponent will bounce on the wall and end up behind you. Corner only.) 6B -> 6C -> meta -> 236236C (x2) -> 624AB -> 2C (ground hit) 2C -> tag -> 6B -> etc -> 5C or 2C depends on distance 6B -> 22X can be useful against characters like Beatrice or Siesta. Could also bait a Kanon/Siesta walljump then punish with 6B. There are a lot of other possibilities I haven't thought out yet. I know they're not all pratical, but it's better than just doing 6B -> 2C (ground hit). Dlanor is a character you really don't want to jump near, lol. |

Well then, let me tell you about my experiences since I picked up Dlanor yesterday.
Dlanor isn't the kind of character (to my scrub experience) having huge combos, but her combos dish out ridiculous damage, especially because her command grab (624X) doesn't scale. Dlanor is a very defensive character, so you want to keep the enemy away from you, and punish their mistakes. Example, if they go for a strong attack (5C, 2C, 6C, etc) meaty while you're on the ground, it's almost next to perfectly safe to use 624X and punish their 5C/2C/6C. Never forget to ground hit with 2C, or 5C (character specific, I can't seem to hit Beatrice on the ground with 5C.) Usually, if the opponent recklessly jump in to attack you, there are many options avalaible to Dlanor. 1 - 6B 2 - 624 (if very close to you) or j.624 3 - j.B (especially on Erika since Dlanor aims upwards) 4 - j.C (gotta be careful, attacks like Battler's j.C will trade hits with you.) 5 - 623X (I don't really use it to punish jumps though, but as movement) On the ground, you want to play as defensively as you can. I don't see the point to approach with Dlanor because her attacks are slow. Use 22X to shutoff Beatrice's 236 series or Siesta's arrows, forcing them to make an approach, and punish them for it. A few basic combos (there are also some in the post above yours) : (2A) or j.6A6B -> 5B or 6B -> 2B -> 2C -> 624X -> 2C (ground hit) 5B or 6B -> 2B -> 2C -> 236236C (x2) -> 624X -> 2C 5B or 6B -> 2B -> 2C -> meta -> 6B -> 624X -> 2C 5B or 6B -> 2B -> 2C -> meta -> j.6ABC 624X -> 2C 5B or 6B -> 2B -> 2C -> meta -> 6B -> 236236C (x2) -> 624X -> 2C (corner only) IMO, there isn't really a reason to use her metaspecial since her 236236C to 624X does much more damage. =| There are probably much more but there are the ones I use. 5C is rarely used because 5B or 2B doesn't combo into 5C. f.5C should be used to score a knock down on an approaching enemy, then do whatever you want on his wake up game. Dlanor also has a very basic mixup game with her aerial overheads and her 6C is excellent to punish people blocking low as soon as they get up. 6B (as said in the post above) is one of her most useful attack as you can do a shit ton of damage by comboing out of it. |

Yeah, I just spam 236236236236236CCCCCC randomly and hope for the best, lol. I'm starting to get the hang of it, though.
If you can't do 236236C two times, just do it once then do the grab (the grab will only connect in a corner, just so you know.) What's important is to connect the grab because it deals absurd amounts of damage since it's not affected by damage scaling. If it was, then Dlanor wouldn't be as good as she is now. Do you play online? |

EDIT: I'm not really familiar with Vocaloids, but... he writes that Will's alternate colour scheme should resemble one... |

Yeah, it's a Vocaloid character. Don't know his name, though. But really, I'm not sure if I like that they waste the only extra palette they add with a Vocaloid theme.
Anyway, glad to see part of Will's intro. Though I would have prefered to see an image with him wielding his sword. |

Added the image directly so that it is user friendly. Yeah, that's Kaito. I don't know what's with Ryukushi, but this is the second alt costume that looks like a vocaloid character. Personally, I would rather like another different costume, but I'm not in control of the game. In anycase, time to check if anything else updated. |

It looks more like Kinjo from When the Seagulls Cry(fangame) than Kaito, just with hair. Either way, not a fan of that colouring. Will looks much better in his normal colours. I'm just thankful that he's not making an awkward pose like in the character select.
Either way, it doesn't look like anything else has updated. But it was promised Feburary, and there's only 14 days left.Hopefully he'll update the character page soon, and that'll include Burn and Lambda. Almost probably.

i-i actually really like that will's alt costume is kaito XD i think having alt themes that look like other characters is nicer than just making those awful generic blonde haired alt color schemes the rest all have.
i could have a team of palette swapped erika and will, and pretend they're miku and kaito XD |
