I have to say, this title has definitely won me over more than I expected.
Over three episodes, it's delivering continually solid character development, decent art, fun scenarios, very sharp dialogue and delivering some key moments very well. The dynamic between Yozora and Sena is just delicious. You love it when they bicker. You love it when they suddenly agree on stuff. And I love how it reveals the major differences between the two - as well as 'Meat'. That's one damn clever nickname! What really makes these two a good duo are that it is possible to like both despite their differences. Compared to a lot of recent titles where it pitted preference wars, there's some genuine friendship building here rather than a lot of the implausible scenarios shoved into once's face. (Kirino-Kuroneko being the obvious one for an obvious comparison for obvious reasons) Like some others have said, generic males within this genre are a dime a dozen. Episode 3 gave Kodaka some much needed airtime and showed us who he was. He is a nice guy overall but he won't tolerate crap from anyone. That triggered a series of great moments with Sena that episode. She's learnt a valuable lesson and there is some noticable change in her. That said, Yozora's moment at the end of the episode was pretty powerful too and just about matched what Sena achieved by having the focus that episode. It also served to show how different Sena and Yozora are when it comes to admitting how they feel. That third episode was quite steamy but it didn't feel cheap at all. I see garb like what Sena wore that episode a lot around town, the beach and the like during the summer - and much skimpier - and sometimes on younger people. That outfit was believable. The service was nice eye candy but didn't have any need to rely on crude breast bouncing or butt flexing. Sena looked pretty damn hot without relying on exaggeration motion. Probably the most fun I've had watching a steamier scene in a long time. Kobato - have to say this is a good match for Kana Hanazawa. Not as shy as her usual roles but she sells Kobato well. That blood joke with the tomato juice was just gold. The show doesn't promise anything spectacular. It's providing steady character development, delivering the key moments with great execution and fanservice that you want to tell your other anime friends about. I'm having good fun watching this!

Ep. 3 was great
First we have Yozora being miffed at Sena having fun without her. After a flood of nasty insults, she makes Sena read out the dialogue in her eroge. When Sena stumbles upon a word (probably おまんこ) and runs out, Yozora does a cheap bail-out and reads a passage out of some book instead. Dibs to Sena for playing eroge. Yozora was just a nasty bitch there. The swim training was also very nice, Sena in bikini... Considering how fast she "learned" swimming, I seriously doubt she couldn't swim before, but rather used it as an excuse for some special time with Kodaka, while she shows off her bikini Later, Kodaka puts his "delinquent" image to good use and scares away the thugs that were pestering Sena. Good job there. We also see Sena becoming more mature, which was very nice as well. Quote:

Damn. That tummy gif is adorable. Is it wrong to want her tummy to inflate even more?
... Sorry all. I'm liking this so far more than I thought I would. Not a fan of either of the girls, yet. I love Hanazawa Kana, but Kobato didn't make an impression. She just seemed too childish, but I guess that's kind of the point >.< Anyhoo. One of the more enjoyable shows this season.

I'm thinking of a quick perverted joke to go with that one, but I'm too above actually saying it...
... You know, I've heard of a saying from somewhere which sounds like: "You sure look happy down there."

Seriously? Never thought I'd see them playing eroge in this kind of anime.
Making Sena read the scenes aloud was pretty fun. Yozora can be pretty mean sometimes. Seems like their club turned into a game club... hope there will be more to it later on. Kodaka & Sena at the pool ^^
