I bet at the end of this, "Hayasaka" becomes "Ai" - ie Kaguya starts referring to her by her given name.

Kaguya's eldest brother sure looks old. I'm guessing the official wife is too old to have more children, hence the mistress? I wouldn't be surprised if Kaguya was adopted simply because she would make a convenient pawn - eg marry her into another family to secure business ties.

That's a rather optimistic take.

The more likely explanations are that their father is rich and can do whatever he wants, and also that he married his official wife for loveless, political reason.

I have to say though I liked this chapter I think I would have liked it more if I hadn't been spoiled by early raws being posted and commented here before the translation. I guess I'll just have to unsubscribe from this thread.

Note that this punch also calls back on Kaguya being the MUSCLE QUEEN, so this wasn't just a slap, but a punch from someone who pulls 15kgs draw bows daily...

The spoiler about Fujiwara was wrong. I wonder what's going to happen after this because Hayasaka won't be Kaguya's servant anymore but she's going to stay at her side.

Just saw K-scan.
-Did Miyuki kick brother's servant ass?
-Brother didn't seems really care after being punched and just walked away. As I expected from Shinomiya. So scary.
-Also brother seems give up. Once again, I feel this scary.
-Miyuki called Fujiwara afterward while watching Kaguya and Hayasaka talked.
