This is a nice ill' story....

"Hyakkaou Academy, a prestigious private school. Here in this academy, students are divided into social strata. Standing above all others is the student council, who rules over the students with their Gambles. It's heaven if you win, and hell if you lose. Those adept at gambling are the envy of all, while the weak are left to suffer the madness of the academy. One girl transfers to this academy. Her name is Jyabami Yumeko."

The art is..... Niiiiiiiiiiiice.

The ladies are sadistic.

The male MC is innocent.

It's the perfect combination!

The story is a bit simple but still enjoyable, wanna see where it goes. Would love it if the male MC steps into the ring as part of a bet between the female lead and another foe.

Oh, I've been reading this since chapter 1, and I love it. Especially those faces.

The way Yumeko changes the game by putting a lot of pressure in it it's something I like the most. The pacing thus far is good and the characters are nice, though I'd like if the MC gets more participation.

Yeah, those faces are pure awesomesauce.

It's kind of amusing for the gender reversal though, normally the insane gambler is the guy and an innocent girl is the 'bystander'.

I dont understand how can a student gamble turn out this big , i mean who will agree to it anyway . You wont get away with cheating rich peoples kids in real life so i would have liked it if that manga had some reality concept .

btw, what the same and the different with "gamble fish" manga?
aside from gambling, school life, insane, mature, and insanes(more of it)

Gamble Fish is a bit sillier, with a lot of slapstick and comic moments. The main cast of Gamble Fish is also pretty much painted in the 'good' light. Whereas in this manga, the main girl seems just as demented, if not more so, than the students she's facing against.

I would get a kick if near the end, Yumeko makes a bet with the council president that "my friend can beat your friend in gambling".

Poor Male MC suddenly has to unleash his inner psycho. Yumeko cheers him on from the sidelines xP

Until that happens it seems he's just carried on for the ride and a plot tool. Could change though, the manga is still young, although it appears that the setting will remain within the school (which gives it a bit of an expiration date).

Thought I was reading a Dal-Young manga for a second. Strong female and pathetic male. If you think Suzui is going to turn into this sudden badass gambler than you're reading the wrong manga. Girl power only in this one...

So chapter 5 is out. That's just fucked up. Gosh, I love it. Yumeko's cat act made me chuckle.

Interested in where the author is going... and how the SC plays, specially the president. I get the feeling that she's somewhat similar to Yumeko.

Expressions are awesome as always.

Chapter 5 just slipped by me, lol.

I enjoyed how some minor characters have appeared as potential obstacles. This delinquent goon and his goonies seems to be a possible recurring character, which bodes well.

I guess the male MC is doormat level for a while, but I find it hilarious that although he knows Yumeko is crazy, he still tries to donate money to her. He's like a loyal puppy sort, useless but innocently noble.

This plot that she's organizing is also pretty devious. Good golly....

Some interesting theory I came across:

"I wonder if somehow at the end Suzui will appear to be the underdog... I mean, what's the point of getting into the school knowing your lack of ability of gambling. He bet 10.000 after loses 490.000 yen to Mary. Then at the recent chapter he said he got 1 mil "just from my parents". He's got something behind his innocent look. That's all this manga is about."

What do you guys think? He used he money Yumeko gave him to pay off his debts, and then he just randomly pulls out 1 mil? From his parents? Why did he need her earlier?

Kinda doesn't make sense...

Well even if he is not a gambling god, it would be tad stupid if he outrageously sucks at gambling and is only there for sympathy. I would like to see him battle against only boy in SC, Who I hope is vice pres. Atleast make him a good sidekick to yumeko,

That aside, I totally love this manga. The faces, The craziness.
