Thanks again. I’m definitely keeping one sword as my light and fire parties benefit greatly from it. Plus, I invested a good bit to get wind Lancelelot, it’s be quite a waste to abandon a wind Ultima sword grid altogether. But I guess it was a good time to get my Scath/Andira/Nio + Hallowsky axe party going.
I’ll probably take another look at an earth Hallowsky axe party with hallowsky mainhand. Depending on how well that goes I may keep my earth sword until I’m ready to get an earth Ultima blade. (I don’t have Cain, or even Octo unlocked)
I’m thinking I’ll go sword, spear, blade, and staff/fist.

I thought it was Fer-san, just using the last syllable in his name. The localization somewhat supports this by using Cillius, in this case just cutting out the first syllable.

Fist also works for Wind already between Monkey, Sen and Scath. Seems like the majority of Oracles will also have Staff and / or Fist prof. Sword is certainly getting outdated but it still hits some of the best MC classes and the largest selection of chars. Ultima in general is getting outdated (especially for Primal grids) and the highest value it provides is some form of dmg cap up with the second skill.

Siete probably one of the most broken characters thanks to his passive which is why wind players (mostly Zephyrus players) have it hard to replace the sword and Siete like let's say Summer Jeanne who lost her use in a matter of months despite all the hype about her back on release .

None of the single SR/SSR or SSR tickets we got today work with Flash or Legend gacha, right? So no point in saving them for trying to get Cain.

I’m trying to get both Cain and Vajra and have a full spark’s worth of free gacha built up. I’m thinking I should take advantage of the roulette gacha and use a good roll during the Flash/Legend period to start off a spark and finish it with free rolls. I’m wondering there’s enough time to build up another spark’s worth by year’s end to spark for Vajra then.
Of course, I may get lucky and get Cain partway through my free rolls. That’s what happened when I sparked for Orchis.

The help page specifically states that SR/SSR tickets are affected by the banner, but not the SSR ones.
And yes, the 100 rolls for the last day is guaranteed regardless if you got 100 rolls before during the roulette period.

Well that’s new and welcome. Used to be that you wouldn’t get that guaranteed 100 roll on the last day if you got one earlier in the event.
Now watch nobody gets one before the last day anymore. (I always scored a 100 roll before the last day and I’m sure many others did too)

So do you guys think 8 months is enough time to build up another spark should I end up not getting Cain by chance and have to use a full spark? I hope so, or I’d have to choose to get Cain or Vajra, but Vajra is a year-long wait. -_-

5-6 months is enough for a full spark, assuming you don't spend any gems or tickets and buy the suptix.
For instance, ever since the spark system was implemented in 2016, I could spark 8 times (never really bet with GW bookmaker and never got tickets with JD monthly thing), mostly free gems and suptix roll tickets (and one spark where I paid like 80 rolls). And that's including 10 4* juuten process, 3 express 5* processes and 6 40 box 5* processes (relevant due to gem consumption for the weapons).
I sparked on Kubira's banner and left without any ticket/gem, and I already have more than 100 rolls, even though I used some rolls during Mirin/Heles/Ferry banner.

On average, you can get 2 sparks and half after a year.

5th year anniversary already? I've been playing the game so casually after work and reached level 150 yesterday just by doing daily magna I. It's the only game I've been playing for the past 3 years yet I haven't made any eternal character, ultima weapon, magna II weapon, or ssr arcarum summon. Jeanne D'Slack is truly my spirit animal.

Huh, The Chariot, The Strength, The Fool, and The Magician are all insanely strong for solo content but garbage for raids.

The Empress has a very interesting tool for water ougi team that can greatly speed up ougi rotation. The long waited 4th ougi attacker after Vajira and Grea.
Her other gimmicks is also usefu for solo.

The High Priestess is like Quatre+Europa and then divided by two. But again a solo oriented character.

The Hierophant, the perfect support for Esser Cannon.

Don't know what to say about the The Lover. Too gimmicky to tell at this point.

But The Hermit and The Emperor... I am sorry, but why are you here?
The wind oracles suck so bad.

If you diligently 20 box every event, do all the sidequests as they get added and don't get tempted to throw any tickets away, I believe you come close to 4 sparks a year. Game is not so bad for f2p that want to play hard.

Too hard to tell with the Oracles for now. Just gonna continue flbing seraphic passive ones first.
