Why Americans Are Stupid:
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to 300 C. The Russians used a pencil. Lolol I thought that was funny ^^' And when I say "Why Americans Are Stupid" Please don't get offended, I was kidding xP Plus that was the title of the joke too at the site I got it from. And I am part American so please understand I meant nothing by it! (And Im not Russian either xD) |

<heffalump75> so i was doing my food and tech exam, right..
<heffalump75> and for some reason they asked me to explain three different methods of cooking potatoes. <heffalump75> I'd just recently watched LOTR as well. <mmmBoris> Uh oh i can see where this is going <heffalump75> In the first box i put "boil em," the second i put "mash em" and the third i put "stick em in a stew." <heffalump75> And then on the side I drew a picture of Samwise Gamgee as best i could. <heffalump75> I got a massive tick and full marks for that question. omg ^^

I need a spam filter for my phone!
Yesterday I got another of those calls, telephone ring, I picked up and said "hello?", girl on the other side replied with a 5 min monologe about what shes going to ask me (wanted to do a survey about my access to TV...). Told me I was randomly chosen by some mysterious chosing program to take part in that survey... yeah right, it picks me out of 100 million or so, every week. After she was finally finished, I told her I had no interest in taking part. She asked me if I was the one in my household with the best experience concerning TV. It was an obvious move to try and get someone else on the phone. I dont fall for that anymore. I told here "yes" (I dont watch TV anymore... hardly once a month.. some poker or tennis). She started another of her endless speaches. About how important it was that I took part and blabla... if I had time to do it later.. they would call again? "uhm.. no?" Do I have to feel bad about that? Because somehow I do.. Im too firendly for this world. |
