The whole Kourin bit still kinda flew over my head a bit. Does she still lose her memories after everything's said and done?

It's purposefully left vague, and left to imagination, until the reveal. Kourin was surrounded by light, though they cut it off beforehand. However, to keep everyone's knowledge consistent, there must be an Ultra Rare. Either they are different people, or Takuto stopped them Suiko, Rekka, and Kourin from losing their memories, but their role as Allies is still over, hence the light show. Legion Mate starts next week .

Edit: In hindsight, Kai was hinted to be the next focus, since the movie announcement, when Kai was listed first, with Aichi and Misaki supporting him.

Could anyone identify the three characters shown during the scenes of the Cardfighters fighting around the world, the two women and young boy? Aren't they new? Or a cameo from another Bushiroad series?

maybe but highly unlikely since its been said kai is the only one who remembers aichi since his disappearence

If you want that, then you must be prepared to have it happen to Misaki, Kamui, Miwa, Emi, Naoki, Shingo, Lose-umi, Izaki, Ren and AL4, Team Caesar, and everyone else who Aichi has made friends with also. It's not something that will be limited only to Kourin if it happens.

Are we looking at tournaments all over the world again, like Asia Circuit?

Welp new season's started. Looks like Kai really is the new protagonist which is still pretty funny considering he just finished being the final boss of Link Joker.

Well we still don't know exactly who's behind Aichi's appearance and why but it does seem that based on that last scene and the fact she was MIA in the few shots of Ultra Rare we saw that Kourin is either with him or searching for a way to save him so it's safe to say she's the "mystery girl" (not really that surprising)

Seems like Kourin still remembers Aichi. Although it also seems like Kourin is in the same predicament as Aichi. I've always pictured Aichi to be the final boss. Whenever Kai says mate I'm go since when did Kai become a pirate captain?

I'm guessing this happened because Aichi was "Reversed," and in the end after fighting Joker and Kai he finally his body couldn't stand it anymore and went with the transformation. Plus Aichi never showed any signs of Psyqualia unlike Ren, so I don't think its his Psyqualia going berserk. I wonder if Ren remembers who Aichi is though.

Wasn't it noted that Aichi felt reverse was going away from him at the last episode for s3? Also the voice that called Aichi is probably Kourin's. Hope the elite 4 puts up a good fight.

Also, it's confirmed Kai is Aichi's true love. He's the one who remembers him. He even said he wanted to mate with him, or something like that.

Its a joke in the wiki forums. Quatre Knights = Elite four. Aichi = champion, thats why hes sitting on the throne.
